Cleveland Indians vs. Carlos Rodon(CWS)

On a smaller eight game slate, the Indians are going to be chalky but nearly impossible to fade. They have been, by far, the hottest team in the league over the last 14 days with a .400 wOBA, 150 wRC+, and crazy .249 ISO. Jose Martinez has led the way with seven home runs but one of three Indians hitters(Encarnacion/Santana) who has double-digit runs scored and one of three(Lindor/Perez) with double-digit RBI during that time. Tonight they get a nice matchup vs. Carlos Rodon who has been a tough one to figure out this season. Earlier he showed elite K upside but allowed too many runs. Flip the script and he has allowed two or fewer earned runs in six of his last seven starts but has struck out less than five in four of his last five. Two things that have sustained all season are his HR/FB rate(19%) and his walk rate(4.02 BB/9) and both of those have me favoring the Indians as my top stack of the night.

Top Hitters to Stack: Jose Ramirez, Francisco Lindor, Edwin  Encarnacion, Carlos Santana

Minnesota Twins vs. Sam Gaviglio (KC)

Danny Duffy is still a ways away from returning to the Royals rotation and it appears Sam Gaviglio will get the chance to spot start. He was claimed off waivers from the Mariners last week after having a rough go in his rookie season. In 11 starts he posted a 4.62 ERA, 4.99 xFIP with an ugly 5.4 K/9 rate and things escalated recently as he gave up 12 earned runs over his last two starts. When stacking we are looking for home runs and the middle of the road Twins(169 HR) get a huge boost as Gaviglio has given up at least one home run in 10 of his 11 starts for a 21.9% HR/FB rate.

Top Hitters to Stack: Brian Dozier, Jorge Polanco, Byron Buxton, Eduardo Escobar
