With J.A. Happ out of the picture it leaves us Robbie Ray who is not only expensive but is coming off the disabled list to add to the risk. I will be paying up for him considering he looked great in his rehab start striking out 11 and reporting no pain. To fit Ray in we will have to go the value route with our stacks, at least on DraftKings. For me it starts with the Tampa Bay Rays who will face the Jays new acquisition Tom Koehler who has been awful this season with a 7.92 ERA, 5.62 xFIP and ugly 21.7% HR/FB rate. Target the left-handed bats as Koehler has given up a .469 wOBA against. That means we should be targeting Kevin Kiermaier, Lucas Duda, Logan Morrison, Corey Dickerson, and Evan Longoria(reverse splits). The other stack on the early slate that I want exposure to is the Miami Marlins who have the highest implied runs on the slate. They face Jake Thompson who was called up to make another spot start. He struggled in his last start giving up nine hits and seven earned runs although only one was earned, however he did give up three long balls and struck out just two. I will be targeting Dee Gordon, Giancarlo Stanton, Christian Yelich, Marcel Ozuna and J.T. Realmuto.
The two top teams in projected runs today both come from the main slate and I will have a ton of exposure to both. I talked a little about the Twins in the main slate and facing a lefty they sit with the highest implied runs(5.6) of any team today. It makes sense as they face Derek Holland who is giving up a career-high 38% hard contact rate against and sits with an ugly 6.28 ERA, 5.69 xFIP, and 18.4% HR/FB rate. The Twins sit mid-pack as a team when facing left-handed pitchers but have some mashers in Brian Dozier and Eduardo Escobar. After the Twins, I will be all over the Cubs tonight despite them being chalky. They will be facing Sal Romano who bounced back last start but keep in mind it was against the Braves who sit in the bottom third in overall runs scored. Before that start he struggled mightily allowing 1 earned runs over his previous three starts. The stack is more about the Cubs being red hot lately winning five straight and six of their last even games while scoring 56 runs(9.3 per game). The players at the top of my list are Kyle Schwarber, Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant(if he returns), and Alex Avila.

What the heck is this? I come here expecting to see teams in bannerheads with a list of the top batters in the lineup. Instead I find an essay on stacks.
Well instead of just two stacks I give you two for each slate as there are two six-game slates. Thanks for reading the FREE article!
Ha!!!!! Finally fightin back with these idiots! Thank you for the FREE info Chris!
you guys gotta continue the cfl post lol it helps a lot for pple that don't keep up with it
Chris, thanks for all you do. Another good article.
These write ups should be for members only Chris .. don't you agree ?
I will talk to Ryan who is the CFL guru about the articles.
Thanks @Mike I appreciate it. Was just trying to give a different perspective for both slates on the stacks as strategy is so much more than just here is a team and four players. Writing MLB 3-5 times a week for 5 months is crazy and redundant so thought a change would be nice.
Talk to you all tomorrow.
Stop bitching about free stuff. If you don't like it go cry somewhere else.
Did the guy really complain about the format , boooo it's a paragraph mommy I don't wanna read
Lol dude must not be able to read or something...🤔
