Yep, really going out on a limb with this one. It seems like the Rangers have been the top stack for about a week now, but I guess that's what happens when the White Sox come into town. They easily have the worst rotation in the league and will bring out possibly the worst of all tonight in Derek Holland. Holland is a left-handed thrower who is absolutely awful against righties. In almost 100 innings of work, he's held onto a .404 wOBA and has allowed 24 home runs. He now moves into one of the best parks in the league for hitting. Globe Life Park is great for both righties and lefties and ranked top 5 during the 2016 summer months. Holland is going to give up runs and he's not going to last long. Because of that, I'm fine targeting Rangers lefties who may be lower owned. They will likely see a righty or two out of the bullpen and have a great shot of making an impact. Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus are the top 2 and musts for a stack. Delino Deshields follows closely behind if he's in the leadoff hole. The rest of the order is a bit wild and I'm fine going anywhere. Joey Gallos is probably my favorite tournament play as he can hit 2 HR's on any given night.
Main Stack - Adrian Beltre, Elvis Andrus, Delino Deshields, Mike Napoli
Sneaky Stack - Adrian Beltre, Elvis Andrus, Carlos Gomez, Joey Gallo
I know the Braves aren't a team you really want to stack, but hear me out. When they're projected to put up 5.33 runs, you have to listen. Robert Stephenson and the pitiful Reds bullpen will move into SunTrust Park and face off with the hot Atlant Braves. The Braves have been decent at home against righties and obviously, have a few guys who can do real damage. As for Stephenson, he's a failed experiment who is now bouncing from the rotation to the pen and back. He's allowed a .391 wOBA combined and is a tad bit worse against lefties. Once Stephenson is out, expect a guy that is just as bad. They only have 2 (maybe 3) strong arms in the bullpen and I doubt they see the light of day in this one. Freddie Freeman is an absolute must and possibly my favorite batter on the slate. Inciarte is in that category as well as a guy you must include in a Braves stack. The rest of the order is yet to be known and I'll likely go with whoever is in the top 4 or 5. The bottom of the order always has upside with bats like Dansby Swanson and Tyler FLowers, so don't be scared to take a shot.
Main Stack - Freddie Freeman, Ender Inciarte, Matt Kemp, Nick Markakis
Sneaky Stack - Freddie Freeman, Ender Inciarte, Tyler Flowers, Ozzie Albies
