I will continue to ride multiple combinations of a Rangers stack as they are one of the hottest teams on the planet right now. During their current four-game winning streak they have scored 37 runs(9.3 per game) including 10 long balls. This isn't something new with the Rangers either as they rank 6th in runs scored(606) and 2nd in home runs(188) on the season. Add to it that they hit in a Top 3 hitters park, especially in the heat of summer, and face one of the worst pitchers on the slate. Sorry, James Shields but you have given up six home runs in your last three starts and three times you have given up three or more runs this season. Since returning from the disabled list in mid-June, Shields also holds an ugly 7.27 ERA and 5.68 xFIP.
Top Hitters to Stack: Shin-Soo Choo, Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre, Nomar Mazara
Secondary Hitters to Stack: Joey Gallo, Robinson Chirinos, Roughned Odor, Delino Deshields
The Rockies have the highest implied run total at this point and will clearly be the chalk. While I will have exposure to the home team, I also like pivoting to the Brewers who are 1. a bit cheaper and 2. should be lowered owned. The second half struggles have dropped them to 16th overall in run-scoring(565 runs) but with their huge power upside have remained fourth overall in the power department(177 home runs). No better environment for power than the thin air in Coors Field. Lock and load.
Top Hitters to Stack: Travis Shaw, Ryan Braun, Eric Thames, Jonathan Villar
Secondary Options: Neil Walker, Manny Pina, Domingo Santana

For a somewhat sneaky stack tonight I turn to the Rays who will be facing their former teammate Erasmo Ramirez. He spent time going back and forth from the bullpen to the rotation for the Rays this season and has been less than impressive with 4.73 ERA, 4.22 xFIP and has given up 12 home runs in his 11 starts(both teams combined). He has minimal strikeout upside(6.78 K/9) and that is great news as the Rays K more than 95% of the teams in the league. While the Rays sit in the bottom half of the league when looking at wOBA and wRC+, they sit in the top half of the league when looking at Isolated Power and that is directly correlated to upside. For the most part, I will be targeting the left-handed bats for the Rays as Ramirez has given up a .357 wOBA to lefties while limiting righties to a .281 wOBA.
Top Hitters to Stack: Corey Dickerson, Logan Morrison, Lucas Duda, Brad Miller, Evan Longoria
