Cleveland Indians vs. J.C. Ramirez (LAA)

The Indians have the second-highest implied run total of the entire day and they have also been red hot lately. They have won six straight games and done so behind the spike in offense. In those six games, they have scored a total of 50 runs(8.3 per game) and lead the league in wOBA(.417) and wRC+(165) over the last seven days. They get a plus matchup to keep it going today vs. J.C. Ramirez who has had an issue with walks lately(nine in last three starts) and although he only allows just over 30% flyballs, 16.5% of them leave the yard. Load up on Indians today and if you are playing Scherzer, don't hesitate to jam in some of the bottom of the lineup guys.

Chicago Cubs vs. Mike Pelfrey (CWS)

The battle of cross-town rivals continues tonight and I am right back on the Cubs who have taken two of the first three games by a combined score of 16-8. They have the highest implied runs of the day and the game total has climbed a half run since I woke up this morning. It makes sense as they get to tee off vs. Mike Pelfrey who has no swing and miss game(5.95 K/9, 6.5% swinging strike rate) and although he has been better as of late, the xFIP(5.39) sits almost a full run higher than the ERA so I am expecting regression and would love to see it today on the south side of Chicago.

Main Players to Stack - Ben Zobrist, Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Willson Contreras

Value Plays - Jason Heyward, Kyle Schwarber

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Zack Godley (ARI)

After the Cubs, there are a few options on the main slate and some more chalky than others. I prefer to go a bit off the map and stick with the Cardinals once again. They aren't typically a team I target for stacking as they rank 20th overall in runs scored but they are on a bit of a run lately and facing a pitcher who has gone in the opposite direction after a hot start. Zack Godley hadn't allowed more than three earned runs once in his first 11 starts. That changed big time recently as he has allowed 10 earned runs in his last two starts despite showing some elite K upside. I will be targeting the left-handed bats to start with as Godley has allows a wOBA of 40 points higher and 2/3 of his home runs against have come against lefties.
