BO-LEVI MITCHELL - CALGARY STAMPEDERS 10,400
First of all, people are going to fall in love with Ricky Ray's un-human like 506 yard passing performance last week and that will most likely result in him being highly owned. Don't chase his points. Instead, there is a better, much more reliable option who plays on a great team. Bo-Levi Mitchell completed 31 of 48 passes for 376 yards and two TD's last week against Ottawa. This week, he gets the same Redblack squad in his home stadium. The Stampeders have the highest projected team total this week with 32 points. Last season, he was Mr. Consistent as usual. Bo-Levi scored an average of 23.6 DraftKings points, with his lowest score being 16.2 points, which is a high floor and his highest was 32.8 points. He also had 35 touchdowns and only 9 interceptions. He has consistency written all over him. He is the highest priced of any player this week, but we can find value at other positions rather easily. Bo-Levi is my top cash game play at QB.
MIKE REILLY - EDMONTON ESKIMOS 10,200
Here is another QB on a great team who offers a ton of upside, but also has a lower floor, especially this week against a solid Montreal pass defense. Last week against B.C., Reilly completed 20 of 28 passes for 315 yards, two TD's and no interceptions. The Eskimos should be fired up for their home opener this week and Vegas has them projected to score 28.5 points which is second best behind Calgary. Last season, the stud QB had an amazing 40 DraftKings points performance in a game against Calgary, but his lowest was 7.3 points. Reilly still has a ton of options to work with on offense this season and I am thinking that he may have a monster week. He is my favorite GPP play at QB.

JOHN WHITE - EDMONTON ESKIMOS 7700
I usually don't like spending up at running back, but there are quite a few top plays in the mid-salary range at the WR position this week, so this guy is an easy choice for me. While the Alouettes have a good pass defense, they struggle mightily against the run. They were the worst rush defense in the league last year and they gave up 103 yards on the ground against a below average Saskatchewan rush offense in week one. Last week, White ran 17 times for 104 yards and a touchdown and he also plays a key roll in the passing game. The Eskimos are -8.5 favorites with a total set at 51.5 points. The Eskimos should take control of this game early and then they will pound the ball on the ground with their top back. I don't see him being too highly owned, so he is my top RB in all formats this week. He has a ton of safety as well as a very high ceiling against an awful Montreal rush defense.
WILLIAM POWELL - OTTAWA REDBLACKS 4900
The 29 year-old back who played his college ball in Southern California had a solid preseason for the Redblacks, so they gave him the starting job to open the season. He ran six times for 30 yards and caught a six yard TD pass before getting injured early in the 2nd quarter last week against Calgary. He participated fully in practice on Monday, so he should be good to go this week against the Stampeders. He looked really good last week and at this price, you can either use him as a utility player, or as your main running back and fit a high priced WR into your lineups.
**Update: Powell is out of the lineup and Mossis Madu Jr.(5100) will be starting for the Red Blacks*
KAMAR JORDEN - CALGARY STAMPEDERS 6000
This young man was already one of my favorite WR plays and now it looks like Davaris Daniels is very doubtful to play this week. With that news, Jorden is now my favorite WR. Last week, he caught five passes for 72 yards and a touchdown. He will definitely get more targets this week against Ottawa who the Stamps tied 31-31 last week. The Redblacks conceded 376 yards through the air last game, which was good for second last in the league. With Daniels out, Jorden offers a ton of safety as well as massive upside and at this price he is an elite play in all formats.
GREG ELLINGSON - OTTAWA REDBLACK 6800
This game has the highest total of the week by almost five points and I think it still could be too low. There should be a ton of points scored here. With Chris Williams leaving for B.C. in the offseason, there are a lot more passes to go around for Ottawa. Ellingson and Harris showed great Chemistry last year when now retired QB Henry Burris was injured. In two games against Calgary last season, these two hooked up on 12 passes for 148 yards and a TD. Last week Ellingson caught eight passes for 66 yards. On DraftKings you get a point for a reception, so Ellingson looks like a great cash game play this week and he offers just enough upside to consider him in GPP's.
BRANDON ZYLSTRA - EDMONTON ESKIMOS 6100
The Eskimos lost Derel Walker to the Tampa Bay Bucs of the NFL this year, so it opened up opportunities for other receivers. Zylstra stepped up in a big way last week, as he caught seven passes for a ridiculous 172 yards. Montreal's secondary was near the top of the league last season and they should be good again, but this Edmonton offense can tear any secondary apart. Their top WR, Adarius Bowman was shut down by B.C. last week, but if you have the money left over, he is a good play. From a PTS/$ perspective though, Zylstra is a great play in all formats.
EDMONTON ESKIMOS 4600
The Montreal Alouttes should be a better team this year with Darian Durant under center, but the Eskimos improved their defense in the off-season and they are favored by eight points in week two. Picking a defense in the CFL is tough because there are usually a ton of points scored. We must then look at the peripheral stats. They had five sacks last week against the Lions and they were all over QB Jonothan Jennings. Look for Edmonton to dominate this game on both sides of the ball. They are the second cheapest D/ST which just sweetens the deal.

I am guessing no one edits these, huh? I know they spell things a little different in Canada, but I'm pretty sure it's not "Runnign Back".
Embarrassing.
Apologies for the spelling error. Hope you played the picks Ryan suggested though. Seems to me that is the important part.
Thanks for reading the FREE article!
Yes that was embarrassing thanks Mark for pointing that out and thanks Chris for fixing it. I wish someone would say something positive, like "thanks man for the picks last night, every player kicked serious ass. This is all free stuff.
