Boston Red Sox

If you read the main picks article, you saw plenty of Boston Red Sox highlighted. They still hold the highest implied run total on the slate at 6.29. They went up from last night, which is always a good sign to see. I don't see any reason to avoid the Red Sox tonight, especially when you consider the rest of the slate. Hector Santiago, a lefty, is returning off of the DL for the first time in a couple months. He made 12 starts earlier in the year, that didn't go too well. He's always had big HR problems against righties and he may be one of the worst at it. In fact, he's allowed 52 homers against righties dating back to 2015. When you move those numbers into Fenway Park, wow. HE should give up at least 2 tonight and faces some guys who can definitely hit them. Mookie Betts and Hanley Ramirez are the top 2 raw options and Hanley is my favorite for a homer. You then get into Chris Young, who is an excellent savings option and almost a must play in cash games on FanDuel. The rest of the order is a bit of a mess, besides Bogaerts in the 3 hole is safe as can be. Don't hold back on the Red Sox tonight, who have one of their best match-ups of the season.

Main Stack - Mookie Betts, Chris Young, Hanley Ramirez, Xander Bogaerts

Sneaky Stack - Chris Young, Hanley Ramirez, Xander Bogaerts, Sam Travis

Toronto Blue Jays

If you want to talk about a steep downfall, let's look at Kevin Gausman. Gausman was an exciting prospect just a few years back, before his struggles against righties surfaced. So far in 2017, he's sporting an insane .418 wOBA against right-handers. While that has to be a little inflated, it's not too far off his career numbers. He's also given up 14 homers in just over 60 innings, which is tough in its own right. The Blue Jays have plenty of righties as we know and they can all hit for plenty of power. Josh Donaldson is the best of all, hitting for a .406 wOBA dating back to 2016. You then get into the first baseman, Justin Smoak and Kendrys Morales. They are both switch-hitters who hit better from the left side. You can go with either one in both cash or tourneys. Jose Bautista and Troy Tulowitzki are fantastic options, as well as Russell Martin at a limited catcher position. Don't be hesitant to target this Blue Jays offense that has a new spark with Donaldson back.

Main Stack - Josh Donaldson, Jose Bautista, Russell Martin, Justin Smoak

Sneaky Stack - Josh Donaldson, Jose Bautista, Kendrys Morales, Troy Tulowitzki
