Cleveland Indians vs. Adalberto Mejia (MIN)

Another benefit of a full 15-game slate is that we not only get a nice selection of pitchers to target but there are also a ton of stacking options as well. I am going back to the well once again tonight with the Indians as my top stack and if you read yesterday's article, you understand why. If you didn't, let me fill you in. They are the hottest team in baseball right now winning eight of their last nine games while scoring 68 runs(7.5 per game) in the process and rank 12th wOBA and 0th in wRC+ against left-handed pitching. Currently, the Indians sit tied with the Nationals for the second most implied runs in the system making them an elite stacking option tonight against another southpaw. Adalberto Mejia has struggled in his first nine major league starts with a 5.31 xFIP and has given up multiple home runs in four of those starts.

Top Options: Edwin Encarnacion, Francisco Lindor, Jose Ramirez

Value options: Austin Jackson, Yan Gomes

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Leiter Jr. (PHI)

I pointed out in the main article that I thought the Diamondbacks projections were low due to the system not aware of the starting pitcher for the Phillies last night. While I thought the implied run line would increase I wasn't expecting this big of a bump. The D-Backs are now the top projected scoring team with just under six implied runs in the system which has boosted the entire lineup. I wrote up Lamb who was projected for around 9.5 FD points tonight and as of now is projected for about 13.5 which is a substantial increase. It has to do with the matchup vs. Mark Leiter Jr. who has been recalled to spot start for Jerad Eickhoff who has been placed on the disabled list. Leiter made 12 relief appearances for the Phillies earlier in the year and struggled to say the least with a 12:14 strikeout to walk ratio. While they lefty killers last year, the D-Backs have been way better vs. right-handed pitching this season with the third best wOBA(.354) and fifth best wRC+ among all teams. It will be tough to get the full four-man stack unless you are paying down at pitcher in GPP's but the upside is well worth the risk.

Top Options: Paul Goldschmidt, Jake Lamb, David Peralta

Value options: Chris Owings, Brandon Drury

Also Consider: Boston Red Sox vs. Alex Meyer (LAA)
