San Francisco Giants / Colorado Rockies

Of course, Coors Field is always going to be in play. We have 2 average to bad pitchers on the mound and an over/under currently sitting at 12.5! The Rockies are expected to score 6.96 runs, which is the highest implied run total I can remember on the season. Matt Cain is very bad and I doubt he lasts any longer than 4 or 5 innings. He's allowed a .355 wOBA to both lefties and righties, while striking out just under 6 batters per 9 innings. The Rockies are the top raw offense on the slate and if you can afford them, get some exposure. Carlos Gonzalez and Nolan Arenado are the top 2 options, with Charlie Blackmon and Ian Desmond coming up next. Matt Cain doesn't really care about who is hitting homers off of them, so don't worry about lefty/righty in the stack. On the Giants side, they face off with a lefty in Kyle Freeland. Freeland is worse against lefties and we all know who to target from the Giants. Buster Posey and Hunter Pence are elite options, destroying lefties for years now. Eduardo Nunez and Aaron Hill are the other 2 righties in this lineup, but Brandon Belt can hit lefties as well. This game is surely going to have some runs and you should definitely get some exposure if possible.

Giants Stack - Buster Posey, Hunter Pence, Eduardo Nunez, Brandon Belt

Rockies Stack - Charlie Blackmon, Nolan Arenado, Carlos Gonzalez, Ian Desmond

 Los Angeles Dodgers

Asher Wojciechowski is bad. bad. bad. He's 28 years-old and has been struggling in the minors for many many years. I actually remember watching this guy get blown up in person just 3 years ago in A+ Hammerheads baseball. Through just 18 innings, he has been atrocious against both righties and lefties. He has been notoriously worse against lefties, so I would prefer them a bit more. The Dodgers are one of the top offenses in baseball against righties and move into a top 5 ballpark. Great American Ballpark ranked 3rd in 2016 for left-handed power and it'll be right there again in '17. Wojciechowski is only going to last about 3 or 4 innings and the Reds bullpen is nothing to write home about. In fact, they actually might be something to write home about. Raisel Iglesias is the only good one and I would say the Dodgers have the advantage against every other reliever. Corey Seager is my favorite play on this slate and will likely be in every lineup of mine. Bellinger is an HR machine and you have to love him in Great American. Justin Turner is very, very safe in the match-up and shouldn't be very highly owned. After that, the lineup is everywhere. Puig and Pederson have plenty of power and can hit 2 HR at any time in this park.

Main Stack - Corey Seager, Justin Turner, Cody Bellinger, Yasmani Grandal

Sneak Stack - Corey Seager, Cody Bellinger, Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson

  1. Do you even research before you post??? Why would you not include LeMahieu and Reynolds in your Rockies stack?? Have you seen what they slash against Cain? Nice ‘analysis.’

    • Maybe he researched how crappy LeMahieu has been against righties this year, not career bvp. If you like LeMahieu and Reynolds then play them. I hope, for your sake, that your need for validation only applies to daily fantasy.
