Pitchers

Dylan Bundy FD 8000 DK 7500
Opponent - KC (Duffy) Park - @KC
FD - 27.48 DK - 18.28

Whether you are looking for a cheap SP2 on DraftKings or a possible under the radar GPP play on FanDuel, Dylan Bundy should not be overlooked tonight. From a win standpoint, it has been a very good start for Bundy as he has gone 5-1 to start the year but the K upside has been nowhere to be found as he sits with a low 5.5 K/9 through seven starts. Don't let that scare you away tonight as Bundy and the Orioles are playing at Kauffman Stadium and it currently sits as the #1 park when looking at run suppression. The Royals have also been the lowest scoring team in the majors and while they have been slightly better vs. righties, they still sit right near the bottom with a .284 team wOBA and 74 team wRC+. Even better, the Royals have been striking out 23.5% of the time over the past seven days and that should help give Bundy a boost in his upside. I wouldn't go as far as saying he is safe in all formats, but it is pretty darn close.

Patrick Corbin FD 7600 DK 8100
Opponent - PIT (Glasnow) Park - @ARI
FD - 24.94 DK - 16.58

While Dylan Bundy is borderline safe in all formats, Corbin is not and should be considered in GPP formats only. He is coming off his worst start of the year which was expected as he was pitching in Coors. Outside of that last start, however, he has been pretty darn good holding opponents to three earned runs or less in all six other starts. The K rate is just above average(7.55 K/9) and both is ERA and xFIP sit below 4.00 which is a positive sign. He should be able to build on those numbers tonight as he faces a Pirates team that ranks dead last in wOBA(.291) and wRC+(36) over the past seven days while striking out a whopping 29% of the time. Those are not good numbers people! Looking at their splits, they have been slightly better vs. right-handed pitching but still rank in the bottom third vs. southpaws. While everything looks great on the outside, Corbin's risk comes with the fact he can give up home runs, especially in a hitters park where the forecast is once again calling for 90-degree heat. I still love the play though as that heat didn't help the Pirates last night when Greinke struck out 11 batters en route to a 2-1 win.
