Our first stack is one I alluded to during the picks write up for today, with several specific player profiles. The Cubbies are hosting the Pirates this weekend who will send Tyler Glasnow to the hill today. We don't have a large sample size of Glasnow to work with, but what we've seen tells us he is worth targeting with the world champion Cubs offense. He pitched a mere 1.2 innings against the Reds on Monday, allowing 5 runs on 4 hits. He put 9 of the 14 hitters he faced on base and only 35 of the 64 pitches he threw were strikes. The players we spotlighted in the picks were Kyle Schwarber, Kris Bryant, Addison Russell, and Ben Zobrist but you can look top to bottom at this offense for ways to differentiate your stack. Anthony Rizzo, Jason Heyward, and Wilson Contreras are all in consideration, regardless of their order in the lineup as I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cubs work through the order several times early on against the Pirates righty.
Next up we pick on another guy named Tyler. Tyler Chatwood of the Rockies will take the mound in San Francisco against the Giants. This stack isn't as sure a shot as the Cubbies, as this game takes place in San Francisco and not at Coors Field, but the Giants are being given an implied total of 4.2 runs from Vegas and Chatwood is on a level not far from Glasnow. He's certainly off to a better 2017 campaign, at least making it through 5 innings in each of his first two starts, giving up 4 runs in each. Last season he sported a 4.37 xFIP, and was slightly worse on the road with a 4.40 xFIP. He allowed 15 Home Runs, pretty respectable for a guy that calls Coors home, but he didn't discriminate, giving up 8 to left handed batters and 7 to right handed. The long ball may not be a problem in spacious AT&T Park, but that shouldn't stop the Giants from beating up on him. Denard Span, Brandon Belt, Brandon Crawford, and Connor Gillaspie are all nice plays in the top of the order, and despite the negative split, Hunter Pence is still a nice value particularly on FanDuel.

Finally we have the Blue Jays. The Orioles have called up Alec Asher from AAA to make the start today. Asher spent most of 2016 in the Phillies farm system and was a September call up for Philly. In 5 starts for the Fightins' he produced 3 quality starts, making it through 5 innings in all but one, and allowing just 7 earned runs in 27.2 innings. The Blue Jays meanwhile are off to a rough start with only 1 win so far this season. You have to expect they're going to break loose at some point and what better chance than against a young arm with minimal experience in the majors. Vegas is giving the Jays 5 runs which is the highest projection on day, and with their early struggles, they could fly under the radar of the majority of the pool. Ezequiel Carrera, Kendrys Morales, and Justin Smoak all match up nicely against the young right hander, and you can throw in Jose Bautista and Troy Tulowitski to round out your stack.
