GOALIES
Craig Anderson FD - $8600 DK - $8300
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 16.97 DK - 4.24
Anderson leads the way at the goalie position tonight as he gets the pleasure of the playing the Avs who rank dead last in almost all statistical categories including offense. The Sens open as -150 favorites and if they were at home it would most likely be much higher. The matchup is great but Anderson has been even better. In his 10 starts since returning to the team, he has been elite with 8-2 record, .944 save % and one shutout. He has also been much better on the road over the course of the season with a 9-3 record and three shutouts. Roll out Anderson with confidence in all formats.
Jon Quick FD - $8800 DK - $7200
Opponent - WAS
Proj Pts FD - 17 DK - 4.25
Jonathan Quick is probably a King at Twister pic.twitter.com/ewxLs57oRc

It's very likely Quick will get back to back starts at home after his performance on Thursday night which was capped off by that amazing save. He was out with injury for most of the season but has been terrific since returning. He lost a game in overtime on the road in Minnesota but has won all three home games while recording a .943 save % against the Predators, Leafs, and Ducks. He will now get his toughest test of the season as the #1 ranked Capitals come to town. With Anderson in a great spot, I don't think you need to consider Quick in cash games but he is an excellent pivot in GPP's. Definitely check the goalie confirmations later in the day and if it's Bishop between the pipes, he will also be an excellent GPP play.
Also Consider: Brian Elliott(CGY)
CENTERS
John Tavares FD - $8200 DK - $7100
Opponent - STL
Proj Pts FD - 14.92 DK - 4.68
Anytime you get this many elite centers together in a slate, Tavares always comes in low owned making him an excellent pivot tonight. Not that those other guys aren't great options but I am mainly a GPP players so I am always looking for any edge possible. Ownership is the only reason to like Johnny T as he has tallied points in three games and nine points in his last 10 games. If you are a cash game player, he is best used on DraftKings in the low $7K range.
Stack with: Anders Lee, Josh Bailey
Mark Scheifele FD - $7700 DK - $6400
Opponent - CGY
Proj Pts FD - 14.23 DK - 4.47
Scheifele has already set career high's in assists(40) and points(68) and is two goals away from reaching the 30 mark for the first time. The only downside to his game is the shot volume(2.1 shots per game) which has taken a hit from years past but the shooting %(21.1) is through the roof. While that is not sustainable, he has only scored three goals over his last 10 games but has provided 12 helpers, all in 5-on-5 situations.
Stack with: Matthieu Perreault, Patrik Laine
Jean-Gabriel Pageau FD - $4600 DK - $4300
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 10.68 DK - 3.07
If you are looking to go real cheap at the center position you better consider Pageau tonight. Despite not getting time on the powerplay, he is providing decent value for a low $4K price and has tallied three goals and six points over his last 10 games. The best part is the floor he provides as he has seen an uptick in shot volume having recorded 30 shots over the last 10 games. Ok, that isn't the best part. The best part is the matchup vs. the Avs who rank last or near last in almost all statistical categories.
Stack with: Mike Hoffman, Mark Stone(PP)
WINGERS
Johnny Gaudreau FD - $7300 DK - $6400
Opponent - WPG
Proj Pts FD - 14.37 DK - 4.7
Johnny Hockey has turned his season around at the perfect time and has helped lead the Flames to an eight-game win streak and share of 3rd in the Pacific division. The biggest change hasn't even been offensive production but rather the all-around game as he has gone from a -17 pre all star break rating to an impressive +12 since. He is coming off a huge four-point game and has 13 total points over the eight-game win streak. He is a bit better of a play on Draftkings in the mid $6K range but a good play either way against the Jets who rank 27th in defense and have given up 10 goals over their last two games.
Stack with: Sean Monahan, Michael Ferland
Evander Kane FD - $6300 DK - $6300
Opponent - CBJ
Proj Pts FD - 12.81 DK - 3.88
The Sabres have been struggling lately, losing four straight and eight of their last nine games but it hasn't been because of the offense. They have actually better than their overall season numbers scoring just under three goals per game during this poor stretch. Kane leads the way with his 24 goals for a team that has eight 10+ goal scorers. While you wouldn't think he would safe in a matchup vs. the Blue Jackets that is exactly the case as he provides elite shot volume creating a very high floor.
Stack with: Ryan O'Reilly, Brian Gionta
Kyle Palmieri FD - $5700 DK - $5000
Opponent - ARI
Proj Pts FD - 11.57 DK - 3.94
Palmieri has been a DFSR favorite all season and it's due to his price continually sitting in the low $5K range. He also sits just one point back of linemate Taylor Hall for the team lead and is just short of his career high setting pace of last season. The most impressive part of Palmieri's season has been his performance away from New Jersey. In 34 road games, he has tallied 27 points with a +5 rating and nine powerplay points. The fact the Devils offense has been cold is wiped out by the matchup vs. the Coyotes 28th ranked defense.
Stack with: Taylor Hall, Adam Henrique
DEFENSEMEN
Mark Streit FD - $3800 DK - $4100
Opponent - VAN
Proj Pts FD - 9.96 DK - 3.14
From a PTS/$ perspective, you will find Streit right at the top of the ranks on both sites. His price is in a great spot after struggling offensively for most of the season with the Flyers but has been a key piece for the Pens with Letang out of the lineup. In three games with his new team, he has tallied four points and is getting around two minutes a game on the league's #3 powerplay. He is safe in all formats until his price starts to adjust to the production.
Jacob Trouba FD - $4800 DK - $5000
Opponent - CGY
Proj Pts FD - 11.54 DK - 3.4
Not far behind Streit on the PTS/$ ranks is Jacob Trouba of the Jets. The only thing keeping him from that #1 spot is the price as he is about a grand more on both sites. With 27 points on the season, he is just three away from setting a career high and has been consistent lately with three in his last four games. Best of all, he provides a very nice balance of shots and blocks makig him safe in all formats vs. the Flames tonight.
Also Consider: Zach Werenski(CBJ)
