Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 2/28/17
Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it!
Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight.
By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below!
What We Know
Kenneth Faried will miss at least a week
Faried hasn't been playing much anyway, so not too much to see here. However, it does solidify the minutes of Plumlee and Jokic. Both of them are in play tonight against a Bulls interior that can give it up in bunches. Outside of those guys, Juan Hernangomez and Arthur have some upside, but also have a 0-minute floor.
What We're Waiting to Know
John Wall is dealing with a cold, but looks likely to play
This is definitely something to keep your eye on, as we all know how the NBA can do us with late scratches. With that being said, Wall definitely wants to play in this one. He is taking on the Warriors at home, which should give him plenty of motivation. If Wall does miss, Brad Beal becomes a must play. This match-up is going to be very high scoring and hopefully close enough.
Victor Oladipo is questionable to play against the Jazz
Oladipo has missed the last 2 games, with Alex Abrines and Russell Westbrook getting the biggest bumps. Abrines picked up around 30 minutes in each of the games, though I have no interest against a Jazz defense that will shut him down. As for Westbrook, he's match-up proof. While he may have a lower floor in this game, his upside is the same.
The "Every Lineup" Guys
Brad Beal
This game between the Warriors and Wizards has a 323 over/under, which is the highest on the slate, by 17. We will be targeting this game a ton, as there should be plenty of guys who hit value. Beal should certainly be one of them, as this game fits his style perfectly. While Klay Thompson is a fine defender, he hasn't been phenomenal this year and plenty of worse SG's have had big games. Beal has been on fire lately, though I think that just might be who he is. He can be played in both cash games and tournaments and is my favorite option at the position.
Frank Kaminsky
Kaminsky has been playing very well as of late and I expect it to continue until the end of the season. He is going to continue seeing at least 30 minutes on a consistent basis and hitting value. He has the honor of taking on the Lakers tonight, who are absolutely atrocious against bigs. Kaminsky will match up with the likes of Julius Randle and Timofey Mozgov, who are both rather inept defenders. You can target Kaminsky in all formats, though he will be highly owned. I'm willing to eat the chalk on a guy like this.

I’ll take the under for the max!!
I knew after last night that tonight would be a dud. Thanks a lot to Jimmy Butler and the Bulls.
