Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it!
Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight.
By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below!
Pelicans receive DeMarcus Cousins for Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway
Rockets receive Lou Williams for Corey Brewer
There was some talk of a return here, but they have been hushed. He has been announced out and will give it another go next game. Austin Rivers and Raymond Felton will continue to head the PG spot.
Aminu does play a big role for this team, as a defensive stopper and rebounder. With him out, Maurice Harkless will be forced to step up. He has shown his ability to have big games in the past and this sets up like another prime opportunity. Harkless figures to see at least 28 minutes and makes for an interesting option across the board.
Faried has been out for a couple weeks and it looks like he will miss at least 1 more game. If he does return, it will eat into the minutes of Plumlee and Hernangomez. If Faried misses, all 3 of the big men are great options.
We talked about both of these guys in the main picks article and they remain solid options for the same reason. Collison is one of only 2 point guards on the roster, with only one shooting guard. That will force Collison into at least 35 minutes and a lock for cash game value. The tournament appeal is obviously there as well as he should hit 35 fantasy points with ease. The Nuggets are a pretty easy match-up for point guards giving up over 40 fantasy points per game. Collison is a fantastic option in both cash games and tournaments.
Buddy Hield got traded to the Kings, instantly drawing a comparison to Stephen Curry. Hield figures to draw at least 32 minutes here in Sacramento with the upside for much much more. With absolutely all hope out the window, I expect them to focus on building the young guys. Hield is certainly one of the young guys with promise. The Kings are a good match-up for shooting guards, as Ty Lawson and Ben McLemore are very underwhelming defenders. Hield can be targeted in both cash games and tournaments.

Hield is on the Kings, so the defense of Lawson and McLemore means squat!
Duff, he tore them up in practice, so his confidence is there for tonight's game.
Wow I pay 30$ a month for this? That's some intense research considering he'll be guarded by his own teammates. Thanks Daily Fantasy Rankings!!!
you can get this info for free dude
Did you not read my comment ? I PAY 30$ a month DUDE! Read it twice next time before you speak on it DUDE!
I hate complaining on here, but now it's my turn. I actually pay for the subscription, and find it lazy that you guys can't account for the fact that Hield and Evans AREN'T on the late slates in draft kings but somehow show up in the optimizer for those slates. I realize I can just cancel them out and re-calculate but find it lazy that you can't take the time to do that for people who actually pay for your service. End rant!
