Daily Fantasy NBA News and Injury Updates for FanDuel and DraftKings - 2/6/17

Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it!

Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight.

By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below!

What We Know

Danilo Gallinari is out vs the Mavericks

Wilson Chandler is the guy who benefits most here, and is the only guy I have much interest in here against the Mavs. Nelson could also be in play if Mudiay is ruled out.

Thaddeus Young is out vs the Thunder

Lavoy Allen started last game and hit 40 fantasy points, in place of Thaddeus Young. While I don't expect another 40 piece from Allen, he is a fantastic play. We will touch on him later. Myles Turner could also see some more usage, but he is currently questionable. Keep an eye on twitter as the day winds down.

Joakim Noah is out vs the Lakers

Willy Hernangomez has been tremendous as of late, and I love him again tonight. The Lakers are weak against bigs, and Hernangomez has been an animal on both sides of the court. With over 30 fantasy points in 3 straight, I would expect nothing less.

What We're Waiting to Know

Jimmy Butler is questionable to play against the Kings

Butler screwed a lot of people just a few nights ago, which i'm sure left a sour taste in a lot of mouths. He is officially a GTD here, and we will likely have no clue by the time lineup locks. This game is in Sacramento, and starts at 10:30 EST, 3 hours after lineup lock. If Butler misses, Wade and grant will benefit most. If Butler pays, I don't have much interest in any of them.

Myles Turner is questionable with an illness

Turner is an absolutely great play today, which definitely makes this news a bit disheartening. If Turner is announced as a full go, he is one of the betters centers on the board. With Thaddeus Young, this interior could become very thin. If Turner is out, you have to think Al Jefferson will get at least 25 minutes or so. He would be an interesting way to go in tournaments, and Lavoy Allen would just secure his must-start status.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

DeMarcus Cousins

DeMarcus Cousins is another way you can pay up, and there is an equal, if not better argument for him over the rest. The Bulls have not been good against centers this season, and Cousins is on a whole different level. He has been over 60 points on a consistent basis in his last 20, and there is nobody on this team who has any chance of slowing him down. Cousins is a terrific way to go in both cash games and tournaments, and he will be one of my highest owned players on the board.

Lavoy Allen

With Thaddeus Young missing this game, Lavoy Allen is a must play. He saw huge minutes last game, and would expect him to see another 30 or so tonight. The Pacers don’t mind throwing Allen out there for a while, as they trust him a ton. This match up with the Thunder shapes up pretty well, as they tend to play fast and offer up a lot of peripherals. That is exactly where Allen gets his upside, and at only 5k, he doesn’t need to do much. Allen will likely be in all of my lineups.
