Welcome to the daily updates and injury news article. We'll try and update it right up to line-up locks with as much information as comes across our desks. Let's get to it!
Last night's picks can be found here, so you can wrap your mind around what you need to be looking at before lineups lock tonight.
By the way - we keep our projection system updated with all of the changes as they occur throughout the day right up until lineup lock. Every day. If you want access to that system so you can cut out a lot of the research element, click the button below!
Hill has been in and out of the lineup for a while, and now will miss probably a few more games. The Jazz play the Nets tonight, so you have to look somewhere. I think all the starters get a bump, and Shelvin Mack should step in. He is a good play, but does have a low floor. The safest way to go is Gordon Hayward, and you can use all of the rest in tournaments.
Zeller is in the concussion protocol, and will likely miss a few games. He plays a good amount of minutes down low for the Hornets, and his absence will give some opportunity. Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert will both pick up minutes, but I have no interest. Marvin Williams may also grab 5 or 6 more minutes, and I definitely have interest in him. The PF spot is not fun tonight, and he gives you a safe path to 25 fantasy points.

CP3 was supposed to return a couple games ago, but it looks like he could miss one or two more. Austin Rivers has been frustrating, but he is still in a good spot and will go overlooked after having a bad game last time out. DeAndre Jordan also takes a bump here, as he is very reliant on CP3. You can play basically any of the Clippers guards in tournaments.
I do expect Kyrie to return tonight, but he could definitely sit out. If he does, Kay Felder and Jordan McRae would benefit. However, the real benefit goes to LeBron and Love. They both get a bump in usage and will shoot more. Anthony Davis could also get an upgrade here, as there is a better chance this one stays close with Irving off the court.
This one could get interesting for the Knicks. Porzingis and Lee are the least likely to play, and Melo has the best chance. If just Porzingis and Lee sit, I will look for Noah and Jennings to benefit most. Justin Holiday would also be in play for some extra minutes, but is only an option in tournaments. If somehow all of these guys play, I will ignore everyone. If everyone misses, you can play anyone in the starting lineup, plus whoever you think the 6th man will be. Lance Thomas will likely start if Anthony is out.
Beal is a big part of this offense, and will play a huge factor either way. If he misses, John Wall and James Harden get a big boost. Wall will get a usage bump, and Harden will get a much worse defender on him. The rest of the Wizards starters will also benefit by picking up a few extra shots and usage.
Fournier is a shot taker for the Magic, and his absence has helped a few guys. For one, Meeks has stepped into the starting lineup and been pretty good. Ibaka has also been good lately, and has shot a lot more when Fournier is out. Both of those guys would make great plays is Fournier misses the game tonight.
I really hope Bev sits tonight. I am a huge fan of John Wall, and it would surely help. I honestly don't think it changes my stance on any Rockets whether or not he plays. If he plays, John Wall takes a bump, and nobody else. If he sits, Wall is my favorite price play on the day and I will have him almost everywhere.
Dellavedova is probably gonna miss this one, and I hope he does. Malcolm Brogdon is one of my favorite value plays on the day and makes for a good play in all formats. He did have a big game last time out, so the fade in tournaments is viable.
Harden is a weird one tonight, as I think he is the best option, but is also extremely expensive. Sitting at $25k, he makes it super difficult to put together a solid team, but also gives you a chance to put up 90 fantasy points in 1 position. I will personally have him in both cash and tournament. Harden will also see a boost if Beal is ruled out, as he will see a far inferior defender. Sheldon McClellan and Trey Burke are way too small, and Harden will absolutely dominate them both. Harden scored almost 100 fantasy points last time out, which is the biggest number I have seen. He had one of the better games I have ever seen, and that should bump his ownership up a little bit. You can use Harden in all formats, but I will personally be limiting him to tournaments.
Brogdon recorded his first triple double of his career just 2 nights ago against the Bulls. He played 39 minutes, and was heavily trusted by the team to run the offense. Dellavedova is currently listed as questionable, but I would expect him to miss. Even if he does play, I don’t see the Bucks just throwing Brogdon back on the bench and playing him 20 minutes. He should see an increased role in this offense as the season moves on and we will surely see his price climb. This match up against the Thunder is a good one, as Westbrook loves to run. This is a big pace up game for the Bucks, and that usually gives the biggest boost to the PG. Brogdon is a must play if Dellavedova is out. He is also SG eligible, which is a worse position and has less opportunity cost.

In your Harden write up, you say that you will be using him in both cash and tournament, and then close with saying that you will be limiting him to tournaments only. A little confusing
