Daily Fantasy Football News and Notes FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 17 1/1/16

In this article, we'll be breaking down the top news around the league and provide you with an analysis of what we expect to happen. NFL News and Notes

• Donte Moncrief is considered doubtful for this week's contest.
• Jordan Matthews is doubtful to play on Sunday against the Cowboys.
• Tyrod Taylor has been benched for Week 17, which means E.J. Manuel will get the start.
• Malcolm Mitchell is doubtful to play in Week 17 against Miami.
• Kenny Britt is also doubtful to play in Week 17.
• Jacquizz Rodgers is expected to get a heavy workload on Sunday.
• A.J. Green and Tyler Eifert have been ruled out for Sunday's contest.
• Theo Riddick will not play once again on Sunday.
• Jeremy Hill is on the injury report with a knee injury, but he's expected to play.
• Randall Cobb did not practice all week and is considered questionable.
• James Starks will not play in Week 17.
• Matt Forte will not suit up on Sunday.
• Lamar Miller has been ruled of for Week 17.
• Ladarius Green is considered doubtful for Sunday, as he's dealing with a concussion.
• Jordan Reed is listed as questionable for week 17, but expect him to be out there. There is a lot at stake for Reed to sit this contest out.
• Melvin Gordon has been ruled out once again.
• Lamar Miller has been ruled out for Week 16.
• Spencer Ware is a game-time decision for Sunday. Keep a close eye on his status.
• Adrian Peterson will not play in Week 17.
• Mark Sanchez is expected to get the majority of the snaps for the Cowboys at quarterback.

Aaron Rodgers (GB) vs. DET

This Detroit-Green Bay contest is going to be a fun one to watch Sunday night. Whoever wins this contest, will head to the playoffs, so you already know Rodgers will be highly owned! With many teams not playing for anything this week, many people will look at this contest in particular. Both teams will give it all they got and Rodgers has looked excellent in recent weeks, which is the other reason why he'll be "chalky."
