GOALIES

Matthew Murray FD - $9100 DK - $8300
Opponent - BOS
Proj Pts FD - 17.2 DK - 4.3

Wow, this guy is good. And I'm not even considering his shutout last time out against the Coyotes into this evaluation on the fact that he is good. Murray is 11-2 on the season with a save % of 9.36 and Pittsburgh are currently -160 favorites according to Vegas.  He seems matchup proof at this time but the Bruins are no offensive powerhouse by any means as they are a lowly 25th in the NHL with 2.30 goals scored per game. Add that to the Penguins offense firing on all cylinders recently, and this makes Murray a must start in all formats this evening. Simple as that!!

CENTERS

Sidney Crosby FD - $9300 DK - $8700
Opponent - BOS
Proj Pts FD - 21.29 DK - 6.67

Sid the Kid isn't really a kid anymore but that name will never go away. He is still the best player in the game even though I don't enjoy stating the fact. He is playing on a level of his own since he came back from injury early in the season He's on a 4 game goal streak with 5 goals, and an 8 game point streak with 8 goals, and 7 assists during that period. That's sick as the younger generation would say. He is the top points per dollar player at his position today and tied for 1st as having the highest point projection. The only guy with a higher projection at any position today is Brent Burns. The Bruins are 8th best in goals allowed per game (2.33,) but Crosby is currently matchup proof as well, and in my opinion is an impossible fade on this short slate. Moving on.

Stack With: (PP) Evgeni Malkin, Phil Kessel, Patrick Hornqvist

Brayden Schenn FD - $5900 DK - $5800
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 13.52 DK - 4.31

The former Brandon Wheat King is tied with Crosby for most points projected per dollar today and with very good reason. The Flyers face off against the Avalanche and their 2nd worst Defense. The Flyers could and should score a pile of goals tonight as Colorado is a complete mess of a hockey team. Schenn has 4 goals and 8 shots in his last 2 games, and he had a hat-trick in power play goals against the owners of the worst Defense, the Dallas Stars. He plays on the 2nd line and top power-play unit in Philly so lock and load Schenn in all formats today.

Stack with: Wayne Simmonds, Travis Konecny

WINGERS

Jakub Voracek FD - $7400 DK - $7100
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 18.24 DK - 5.56

Here we have another Philadelphia Flyer player and it won't be the last. We need heavy exposure to them today and Voracek is a beast. To go along with their 2nd worst Defense, the Av's own the league's 7th worst penalty kill and of course Voracek plays on the Flyers' top power-play unit. The stud forward already has 11 goals 21 assists, and 110 shots on goal this season which is pretty awesome,  and he makes a great play in all formats today.

Stack with: Claude Giroux, Michael Raffl

Jonathan Drouin FD - $5500 DK - $5500
Opponent - CGY
Proj Pts FD - 8.28 DK - 2.58

Is this guy finally winning the hearts of Lightning fans again after being suspended last season for not wanting to play for their farm team? Well, he's trying his best by finally scoring a few points here and there and now he's on a hot streak. He is on a 4 game point streak with 6 points during that span and 3 goals in his last 2 games with one being via the power play. I wouldn't recommend him in cash games against Calgary and the red hot Chad Johnson, but since he plays on the #1 pp unit, he makes for a great low owned gpp play today.

Stack with: (PP) Nikita Kucherov, Alex Killorn

Also Considered: Joe Pavelski

DEFENSEMEN

 Brent Burns FD - $8300 DK - $8600
Opponent - OTT
Proj Pts FD - 22.1 DK - 7.38

The hockey version of the beard is the highest projected dude today and while he is super expensive, he is pretty much another forward for the sharks, and since blocked shots are rewarded on fan duel this year, he makes it even tougher to fade him every game he plays. Just listen to the following stats he boasts so far this year. 12 goals, 14 assists, 125 shots, and 55 blocked shots. That's just insane I'm telling ya. He's matchup proof because his floor is the highest in the league of any position, and he always offers a crazy high ceiling because of his beard( ha ha). Okay, it's because he is a magnificent hockey player. Find room for him in all formats today vs the Senators.

Ivan Provorov FD - $4200 DK - $4700
Opponent - COL
Proj Pts FD - 11.07 DK - 3.3

Another former Brandon wheat king, and wow am I ever excited today. Like I said a few days ago, he is a DFSR favorite, and last game the Russian rookie dished out an assist and a few other peripherals to exceed his value once again. At these prices, he is going to be a safe play every game he plays. Nothing else to say here. Get er done.
