Daily Fantasy Football News and Notes FanDuel and DraftKings – Week 13 12/04/16

In this article, we'll be breaking down the top news around the league and provide you with an analysis of what we expect to happen. We will also provide you with an "every lineup guy" section, just like we did for baseball. As always, these picks are informed by our lineup optimizer, the NFL spread for each contest, year to date NFL stats, and so on. So let's welcome football back into our lives, and let's get this show on the show on the road!

NFL News and Notes

• Marvin Jones (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Saints. The Detroit Free Press announced that Jones didn't do much in practice this week, so don't be surprised if he sits this one out.
• Rob Gronkowski (back) has been placed on IR.
• Brandon Marshall practiced in full on Saturday, which means he's probable for Monday night.
• Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton practiced on Saturday and will be out on the field Monday night.
• Charles Clay did not travel with the team and is expected to miss Week 13.
• Jeremy Maclin (groin) has been officially ruled out for Week 13.
• Michael Crabtree and Latavius Murray were limited participates in practice all week, but are expected to play on Sunday.
• Theo Riddick was a limited participate in practice this week, but should be out there come Sunday.
• Martellus Bennett isn't 100% healthy, but he's expected to play with Gronk on the shelf. Look for him to get an increase in targets.
• John Brown is considered questionable and is 50/50 for Sunday.
• Michael Floyd practiced in full on Friday and will be out there on Sunday.
• Tavon Austin missed practice on Friday and is doubtful for Week 13.
• Kelvin Benjamin - will be out there on Sunday.
• Mark Ingram is still listed as questionable for Sunday. His status is up in the air, so we'll have to wait till Sunday morning to hear more about his status.
• Jordan Matthews is considered "50/50" for Sunday.
• Tyrell Williams is expected to play on Sunday.
• DeVante Parker's status is up in the air for Sunday. Gase said that he doesn't want to rush him back to action, which I'm guessing that means he's closer to doubtful or will be limited.
• Jordan Reed is out for week 13.
• Trevor Siemian will be out on Sunday, which means Paxton Lynch will get the nod .
• Robert Woods will not play on Sunday.
• Allen Hurns has been ruled out for Week 13.

"Chalk Play"

Drew Brees (NO) vs. Det

So, Drew Brees has claimed the "Mr.Chalk" title for this week. Everyone in the industry is talking about him and rightfully so. He's leading the league in passing yards, passing attempts and touchdowns and will be playing at home against a not-so-great defense. Look for people to load up on Saints' stacks this week.
