I love me some Jones tonight. The Islanders are punchless on offence and are 21st in the NHL with only 2.42 goals scored per game. John Tavares is a super-star but after him, they lack serious talent. With the Sharks playing on home ice, they will be able to try and shut down Tavares by shadowing him with their best defensive players. Jones has had an up and down season so far, but in his last two games, he shutout the Devils, and allowed only one goal in a victory against the Blackhawks. He makes a terrific tournament play because he is usually fairly lowly owned, but this evening I think that we should seriously consider him in our cash game lineups as well, but there are other options there like this next guy.
***Update - Aaron Dell will be starting for the Sharks***

Here he is. The finish net-minder is one of the best goalies in the league and on home ice he has been nothing short of sensational this season. Rinne has won six of his last seven games, and he posted a shutout against the Ducks during that span. This is his third home game in a row, and him and the Predators defeated the Dallas Stars, and the Tampa Bay Lightning as he only allowed 3 goals in the process. And those teams aren't bad on offence by any stretch of the imagination. Tonight the Predators square off against the Winnipeg Jets who have been absolutely awful lately. They are an undisciplined hockey team, and tonight will be their last game of a five game road trip. I think they just want to go home. In their last three games the Jets have scored only 3 goals. Ouch!! And now they get to face Rinne and the much improved Predators team? This could get ugly. I love Rinne in all formats this evening.

Connor "McJesus" is almost always here and with very good reason. He is establishing himself as possibly the next "Great One." Relax folks I said possibly. There will only ever be one Wayne Gretzky but this kid is awesome and no I'm not an Oilers fan I just love the game. Last game vs Colorado, McDavid scored a goal and added 2 assists, and in his last 3 games he has 4 goals, 4 assists, and 9 shots on goal. And tonight he gets a crack at the Arizona Coyotes who are tied for 2nd worst in the league with 3.33 goals allowed per game, and are dead last with 33.6 shots allowed per game. The Coyotes are also 28th in the NHL with a penalty kill % of 77.4 and of course McDavid plays on the top line and #1 PP unit for the Oilers. This should be like playing a junior team for McDavid and the Oilers today and he is a must play for me in all formats

Finally this talented young Russian has shown he can possibly be the player that the Capitals were hoping he will be. It has been a rough year for Kuznetsov but Coach Trotz finally put him back on a line with the Great Alex Ovechkin and last game it payed off as he scored a goal, added an assist and fired 4 shots on net. He also played on the #1 power-play unit with Ovechkin, and tonight the Capitals play the Buffalo sabres who are 27th in the league in shots allowed per game (32.4.) They are 7th best in the league in goals allowed (2.35,) but we shouldn't worry about that as regression is sure to come for the Sabres. Ovechkin is expensive and this is a cheap way to get exposure to him this evening. Lock and Load the young Russian today.

Little Joe is glued on the top line with Big Joe Thornton and now Patrick Marleau joins the two Joe's which only helps Pavelski's value. He is on a 4 game point streak and during those 4 games, he has a goal, 3 assists, 6 blocked shots, and a whopping 22 shots on goal. The Islanders are 6th worst in the league with 3.05 goals allowed per game, and 5th worst with 32.2 shots allowed per game. Little Joe also plays on the #1 PP unit, and the Islanders are bad at killing penalties as they are 25th in league (79.5 %.) He is a very tough fade for me in cash games this evening, and makes a terrific play for you tournament lineups.

I love the Predators this evening especially the 2nd line which has a ton of value. Forsberg is too cheap on both sites, and until his price goes way up, he should be highly considered for your lineups. The Predators play the Jets who are 8th worst in the league in goals allowed (2.95,) and 20th in the league in killing penalties, (80.8%) Forsberg scored a goal and added an assist last game against the Dallas Stars and now has 2 goals and 13 assists this year to go along with 41 shots on goal. He plays on the top power play unit in Music City which is ranked 5th in the league (22.9%.) Forsberg is one of my favorite value plays today in all formats.

One of my favorite words is Wowzers!!! And that's what Cammalleri gets today. He came back from an injury last game and scored a goal to go along with an 9 shots on goal in 23 minutes of ice time for the Devils. You just said Wowzers didn't you?? Ha I knew it. Taylor Hall is hurt so the need Cammy to carry the team on his back and he will try to do so as long as he stays healthy. Tonight the Devils face off against the Detroit Red Wings who even though are middle of the pack in goals allowed, the are 7th worst in the league in shots allowed per game (31.6.) It is tough recommending A New Jersey Devil player for cash games, but at that price he can be considered in my opinion. Where he should not be faded though is in your tournament lineups, and he can help you take down a massive tourney. Fire Cammy up today folks.

Man oh man am I ever excited to recommend this guy today. I live close to Brandon Manitoba where he played his junior hockey in the WHL with the Brandon Wheat Kings. One game I watched last year, the Wheat Kings scored 7 goals and he assisted on 6 of them. He finally got the monkey off of his back, as he scored his first NHL goal last time out, and he is simply too cheap to ignore. I don't even care about his matchup today as the Flyers are a good offensive team and he contributes everywhere. So far this season he has a goal, 8 assists, 35 shots, and 36 blocked shots and he plays on the Flyers #2 PP unit. He plays 20 minutes per game, and at these near minimum prices, he makes a great play in all formats today.

I love this guy's name, I wish I was named Oscar, and like Provorov, he is also too cheap to ignore, especially on FanDuel today in a soft matchup against the Arizona Coyotes. Klefbom plays 22 minutes per game and he plays on the #1 PP with McDavid and company. he only has 3 goals and 4 assists this season, but he has fired 50 shots on goal and has 33 blocked shots. I also think that he makes a great play in all formats today because of the fact that he sees a lot of ice time with McDavid.
