What We Know

Darren Collison will return from his suspension

Darren Collison was forced to miss the first 6 games of the season, and will now return against the Pelicans. With Ty Lawson struggling, I expect Collison to get big minutes right away and make an immediate impact. While I wouldn't expect 35 minutes, I think 30 is pretty fair. Aside from Lawson taking a hit, Garrett Temple also takes a huge hit.

Jeremy Lin remains out

We saw Sean Kilpatrick get a big minute bump last game, and will likely see more of the same tonight. Isaiah Whitehead also saw a few more minutes, but I would not consider him against the Timberwolves. In conclusion, Kilpatrick and Trevor Booker can be considered on the nets

Ricky Rubio will miss a few more games

Ricky Rubio has been out for a few games and remains out tonight. We will see Kris Dunn man a bunch of minutes and Karl-Anthony Towns will continue to run the show. The Nets have been running a pretty fast paced offense and there will be plenty of peripherals to go around.

Deron Williams is out

Deron Williams missed last game against the Bucks, and J.J. Barea took full advantage. He scored 21 points and backed those up with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Wesley Matthews also manned 44 minutes, which puts him in play for cash games and tournaments.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis did play 35 minutes last night, but that's the only thing working against him. The Kings are horrible against PF's, the game has a very high over/under, and he has been given the reigns to the offense. Davis has been absolutely fantastic all season and while he has had a few hiccups, they were against good opponents and he didn't play very many minutes. Davis is not too expensive around the industry, so I think he is the best option in your cash games and tournaments, in the elite pricing range.

Jose Juan Barea

J.J. Barea is the lock of the night. Plug him in. Play him everywhere. The Lakers have not been able to guard point guards for the last 5 years, and this season has been no different. Barea has always been a guy that produces when on the court, and he has done an exception job as of late.
