What We Know

Ricky Rubio is out indefinitely with a sprained elbow

Ricky Rubio is going to be our for at least a few games, and that is going to open up a ton of opportunity. Rubio has averaged 30 minutes per game, which will naturally have to go elsewhere. THe majority of those will go to Kris Dunn, with some other scattered to guys like Tyus Jones and John Lucas. Kris Dunn will likely see around 30 minutes,and I absolutely love him tonight. We will touch on that later. Aside from Dunn, I expect Wiggins, Lavine and Towns to see a slight increase in usage.

Jahlil Okafor will likely rest tonight

The 76ers have said that they will rest Okafor tonight, and will rest Joel Embiid tomorrow night in the backend of the back-to-back. Okafor will be active, but I expect him to only be used in an absolute emergency. Okafor has only been getting about 15 minutes per game, so there is not too much to go around here. I expect Embiid to maybe get a few more, and for Dario Saric to pick up a few.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

Kris Dunn

We touched on him a second ago, and I will reiterate here. Dunn is low priced around the industry, and is guaranteed to get the minutes. He has been announced as the starter, and I ok for his floor in minutes to be around 25 with a ceiling around 35. HE has produced in his time on the court, and although this Memphis team has a good defense, they are vulnerable against guards who look to initiate offense. Dunn is a big part of the future and I expect Thibs to want to see what they have in him.

Anthony Davis

Honestly, it is getting kind of scary that Anthony Davis hasn't screwed us all over. We all know it is going to happen, sooner or later. I am a huge fan of this guy and I hope he never gets injured again, but that is not gonna happen. That being said, you can't not play a guy in DFS for that reason. It is a losing strategy and one that will hurt you much more than it will pay off. The Pelicans have finally quit messing around and now the team is running solely through AD. He has taken over 30 shots per game on average and while it may not remain that high, I don;t expect it to dip too much either. He takes on a Bucks team that will struggle mightily against skilled big men, as they lack those. Jabari Parker and Greg Monroe will do the best they can, though it won't be nearly enough. Expect another big game out of AD tonight, and make sure you take advantage.
