Match-up - Joseph Ross vs. Julio Urias
Julio Urias and Joseph Ross will square off in game 4 of the ALDS, with the Nats leading 2-1. This is a win or go home game for the Dodgers, so I expect them to stretch Urias as long as he is on his game. They have a very unsteady bullpen and would rather not resort to that early. For those reasons, I do like Urias in tournaments, but couldn't recommend him in cash games due to his up and down tendencies. On the other side of things, Joseph Ross is a very good pitcher that has a lot of weird quirks. He has a tendency of showing his pitches, and is one of the worst guys in the league at holding runners. However, he still has outstanding numbers and has very consistent game logs. The Dodgers are a team that can go quiet on occasion and has a ton of guys with strikeout upside. I could see using both of these guys in tournaments and Ross in cash games, though scary.
While I do like both pitchers, I think we have to take a look at some bats with only 2 games on the extremely short slate. The Nationals are facing a lefty, so the righties like Anthony Rendon and Jayson Werth definitely get my attention. I think you can use both of those guys on cash game rosters, and could see the merit in tournaments. The Dodgers are a very unpredictable team, so I could see anything in tournaments. Puig could get on base and steal some bags, as could Seager or Pederson. With only 2 games on the slate, we have to consider everything, which gets mixed up when you like both the hitters and pitchers against one another.
Match-up - John Lackey vs. Matt Moore
WOW, What a game! The Giants went up by 2 in the bottom of the 8th to only give up a homer to Kris Bryant to tie it back up. Then we went another 4 innings until the Giants squeaked out a 1 run victory. They will head right back out there tonight and toss John lackey and Matt Moore into the flames. Lackey has been there a ton of times over his career, which makes me pretty confident that he will be on his game. While I don't expect a clean slate, Lackey is my favorite pitcher on this slate. On the other side of things, Matt Moore is my least favorite. The Cubs want to end this series now, and will be extremely focused. I love a ton of hitters on the Cubs side of the ball. Matt Moore is pretty young and has not been thrown into the playoff fire too many times with the Tampa Bay Rays. The Cubs are a huge opponent and I expect him to get beat up.
My favorite hitters are in this game, from the Cubs side of the diamond. Matt Moore has struggled with both lefties and righties with a .341 wOBA over the past 2 seasons. The Cubs tote some big right handed bats in the likes of Kris Bryant, Jorge Soler, Addison Russell and Javier Baez. I like all of those guys in tournaments, and would throw Rizzo in there as well. The Giants don't offer too much, as I expect lackey to pitch a strong 7 or 8 innings. The Cubs are a team you will want exposure too, in both tournaments and cash games.

Kershaw is the starter.
Man so were wrong about Matt Moore. How does that humble pie taste you guys? And on tonight's slate you dislike Estrada so that means he's scoring 60 :-)
