In case you didn’t notice, we just released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season.

A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!
Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good.

Stack Targets

Texas Rangers vs. Daniel Wright (Angles)
Park - Globe Life Park

The Texas Rangers are going to be our top stack of the night, and Las Vegas agrees with us. They are projected to score over 6 runs, and are the highest on the board. They will be facing off with Daniel Wright, who has been absolutely HORRIBLE since coming to the league. I have no clue where to start. .421 wOBA against lefties. .411 wOBA against righties. 5.83 xFIP. 44% hard contact rate. Wow, that is really bad. The Rangers bring a very nice lineup to the table with both powerful left handers and right handers. Rougned Odor is my favorite of the bunch, so he will be in all of my stacks, whether there are large field tourneys or small field. The game will take place in Globe Life Park, which is one of the best parks in the league for power. The Rangers should be very highly owned, so I definitely see the merit in using a sneaky stacks or two.

Main Stack - Rougned Odor, Carlos Beltran, Ian Desmond, Carlos Gomez
Sneaky Stack - Rougned Odor, Carlos Beltran, Mitch Moreland, Nomar Mazara

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Jorge De La Rosa (Rockies)
Park - Coors Field

The Cardinals are coming in as our 2nd favorite stack of the night, though they are not far behind the Rangers. Jorge De La Rosa has actually been a really good pitcher as of late, but has hit a huge wall this year. Against righties, he has given up a .348 wOBA. Alongside the fantastic wOBA, he has given up a 34.7% hard contact rate and a 25% line drive rate. The Cardinals bring a very tough lineup to the table, and there are quite a few options to consider lower in the order. The game will be played in Coors Field, which is the best ballpark in the league for hitting. The Cardinals are projected to score over 6 runs as well, so you can go a whole bunch of different ways in your sneaky stacks. I do expect the Cardinals to be very highly owned, so thee is a ton of merit in using a sneaky stack or two in large field tournaments.

Main Stack - Aledmys Diaz, Stephen Piscotty, Matt Carpenter, Jedd Gyorko
Sneaky Stack - Aledmys Diaz, Stephen Piscotty, Jhonny Peralta, Randal Grichuk
