NFL News and Notes

  • Jamaal Charles (ACL) was limited in Thursday's practice. It doesn't look like he will suit up this week, so you can expect Spencer Ware to be the starter, but he will split carries with Charcandrick West.
  • Markus Wheaton (shoulder) practiced in full on Thursday and is expected to play Sunday.
  • Demaryius Thomas is still listed as day-to-day with a hip injury. I will keep you posted on his status, but for now, we'll consider him questionable.
  • Chris Ivory was released from the hospital and is still questionable for Sunday's game. If he's unable to go, look for T.J. Yeldon to get a lot of touches this week.
  • T.Y. Hilton is considered questionable for Sunday with an apparent knee injury he suffered in practice. I will keep you posted on his status.
  • Zack Ertz (ribs) sat out again Thursday and I don't expect him to suit up Monday. Trey Burton is expected to be the Eagles "receiving tight end." You can also expect Jordan Matthews to get a ton of targets.
  • Kendall Wright (hamstring) will not suit up once again in Week 2. You can expect for Tajae Sharpe to continue to get his targets.
  • Rob Gronkowski (hamstring) still isn't 100% and is considered questionable for now. We will keep you updated on his status
  • Devonte Parker (hamstring) was able to practice Thursday and looks like he will suit up for Sunday.
  • Mohaemed Sanu (ankle) was limited on Thursday's practice, but is expected to play on Sunday.
  • Jonathan Stewart (ankle) is on track to play on Sunday.
  • Russell Wilson (ankle) is practicing in full this week and will play on Sunday
  • Tournament Stack

Dereck Carr, Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree (OAK) vs. ATL

I know a Giants-Saints stack is what everyone around the industry is talking about, so I'm going to go ahead and give you another stacking option. So, the stack I'm looking to target in tournaments is the Raiders. In particular: Dereck Carr, Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree.

This trio was dominant Week 1 against the Saints. They combined for a total of 67.76 fantasy points! That's just insane! Carr and the gang looked excellent in their first game, and I expect them to carry that momentum into Week 2.

This week, they will be going up against a Falcons' defense that was destroyed by the Buccaneers. They scored a total of 31 points and had 371 total yards. In other words -- they put in work! I expect this to be a similar story with the Raiders, so go ahead and get some exposure to these guys!

    "Every Guy Lineups"

    Odell Beckham Jr.(NYG) vs. NO
    Eli Manning(NYG) vs. NO

So I expect these guys to be in pretty much every lineup this week, but can you blame the public? The Saints allowed a total of 470 yards Week 1! That's insane! And now they are without their top cover-corner, Delvin Breaux and I don't see it ending very pretty for the Saints. The Giants are the chalkiest plays of them all and I expect them to score [a ton] of fantasy points this week. It's not a secret; the Saints' defense is bad.
