Daily Fantasy MLB Hitter Stacks for FanDuel and DraftKings- 9/12/16

Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other stacking targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article and our updates articles but here we will look at other dudes to consider.

In case you didn’t notice, we just released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season.

You can grab a free trial to test out yourself.

A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!
Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good.

Stack Targets

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Bryan Mitchell (Yankees)
Park - Yankees Stadium

We have a huge slate on our hands here, and that means plenty of teams to consider stacking. My favorite team on the board is the Los Angeles Dodgers. They are going on the round to Yankees Stadium, which is a top 3 ballpark for left handed home runs. They are taking on a pitcher in Bryan Mitchell that  has been a minor leaguer that has had a few major league stints. Those stints were absolutely atrocious, and I can't say I expect anything different today. The Dodgers lineup offers a ton of upside with all of the big left handed bats. While I don't think the ownership levels will be crazy here, I think the sneaky stack is in play due to the sale fact of their offensive distribution. The Dodgers offense is very viable and the bottom has big games on the regular.

Main Stack - Corey Seager, Justin Turner, Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Reddick
Sneaky Stack - Corey Seager, Justin Turner, Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson

Houston Astros vs. Martin Perez (Rangers)
Park - Minute Maid Park

The Astros are going  to come in as our 2nd favorite stack of the slate. They are taking on the Houston Rangers at home, which happens to be one of the best parks in the league for right handed power. The Astros will be facing Martin Perez, a left handed finesse pitcher that has been absolutely atrocious against right handers. Thus far in 2016, he has given up a .356 wOBA that is held up by numerous pitiful peripherals and batted ball rates. The Astros have a ton of phenomenal right handers in there lineup with 3 or 4 all-stars right in the mix. I do expect a few of these Astros to be extremely high owned (relative), so I definitely see merit in going with the sneaky stack. Altuve and Correa will be in all of my Astros stack, and will get sneaky elsewhere.

Main Stack - George Springer, Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Alex Bregman
Sneaky Stack - Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Yulieski Gurriel, Evan Gattis
