Pitching Targets

Jason Hammel FD 8700 DK 7500
Opponent - MIL (Peralta) Park - @MIL
FD - 33.24 DK - 21.54

We took a look at Corey Kluber and Gio Gonzalez in the main article and there is not too much to love outside of that tonight. I will do my best here to highlight 2 other guys that can be considered in all formats, well, at least tournaments. Jason Hammel will be our top guy here, as he is rather safe and has a bit of upside. He will be taking on the Milwaukee Brewers tonight, who are one of the worst teams in the league against righties. Over the course of nearly 4000 plate appearances, the Brewers have held one of the worst wOBA's in the league against righties at .309. They have also struck out at a crazy 25.7%, which is the highest in the league. While I definitely prefer Gio and Kluber, Hammel makes for a great case in tournaments and as a SP2 on DraftKings.

Jose Urena FD 5800 DK 5400
Opponent - PHI (Morgan) Park - @MIA
FD - 25.51 DK - 16.76

Like I said, it gets ugly. This is one of the worst pitching slates where we have a full set of 15 games. The 3 guys in Hammel, Kluber and Gonzalez are going to carry nearly all of the ownership tonight, which leaves us a bit of an opportunity to get a low owned pitcher. My favorite of the bunch is Jose Urena, who is facing the worst team against righties. Like the Brew Crew, the Phillies have held a sub .300 wOBA against righties and have struck out almost as much as the Brewers. While Jose Urena has definitely struggled, he has also flashed upside and I wouldn't be surprised to see it here once again. Urena is very cheap on both sites, though I prefer him on DraftKings at an SP2. He will help you pay up at other spots, which could definitely be worth it tonight with all of the offenses in good spots.
