Welcome to our new daily article breaking down some of the other pitching targets on this slate. We covered our system's top value plays in our daily picks article, but here we'll look at a bunch of other solid plays to consider.
In case you didn’t notice, we just released our brand new NFL DFS suite of tools including full projections, optimal NFL lineups and our Player Lab, which includes filters to help you create NFL lineups for FanDuel and DraftKings for any format. It’s a set of tools well beyond anything we’ve ever had, and something we feel will help our users *ahem* tackle the NFL season.

Pitching Targets
Opponent - MIL (Guerra) Park - @PIT
FD - 37.85 DK - 20.58
Taillon will be back making another start on Friday after being called back up on Friday. He has been able to experience success in his rookie year due to his amazing control(1.40 BB/9) which makes makes up for his average K rate(7.36 K/9). He is also producing ground balls at an excellent 53% rate which has helped keep his ERA(3.39) down and xFIP(3.24) even lower. Taillon will receive a nice boost in K upside today as the Brewers ranks 23rd in wOBA and hold the worst K rate(25.8%) of any team vs. right handed pitching. He is safe in all formats that this low price.
Opponent - CIN (DeSclafani) Park - @CIN
FD - 24.71 DK - 12.26
It is going to be a great night to try and stack as many Coors bats as possible with so many low end values all the way from pitcher and scattered throughout the bats. Reyes comes at punt prices on both sites and makes an excellent contrarian GPP play today. He will be making his second start of the season after going just 4.2 in his first start, limiting the A's to one earned run and two hits while striking out four batters. He struggled with control walking four but has shown us some very nice K upside which correlates nicely with fantasy points, especially on DraftKings. While the park factor is a bit scary the matchup isn't as bad as the Reds rank 21st in wOBA(.310) with a 21.1% K rate against right handed pitching. If he can avoid the big bat of Joey Votto, Reyes should be able to exceed his value on both sites tonight.
Opponent - MIA (Cashner) Park - @CLE
FD - 36.4 DK - 23.81
After a terrific first half of the season, Carrasco has struggled down the stretch with a 4.25 ERA since the All Star break. Despite the struggles he has continued to put up elite K numbers with a 9.82 K/9 rate in the second half while walking under two batters per nine. He gets a terrific matchup tonight as the Indians come in as big -220 home favorites vs. the Marlins who have struggled since losing their slugger Giancarlo Stanton. Over the last 14 days they rank 26th in wOBA(.288) with a low 77 wRC+. While I don't trust him in cash due to the recent form, I feel he makes an excellent pivot of David Price in tournaments.
