What We Know

Personnel

• Josh Donaldson's status is something to monitor after jamming his thumb on Wednesday. We should start seeing lineups in a few hours.
• Logan Forsythe is expected to return to the Rays lineup tonight.
• After sitting out the last three games, Adam Duvall had his walking boot removed and is expected to return to the lineup sometime this weekend.
• Cesar Hernandez missed Thursday's game with a foot injury after fouling a ball off his foot earlier this week. He is considered day to day.
• Neil Walker remained day to day with back spasms. He has missed the previous three games and is expected to return to the lineup as soon as Friday.
• Zack Cozart has been playing sparingly lately as he has been experiencing pain in his surgically repaired knee. Best to avoid him at this point.
• The Mets will be activating Yoenis Cespedes and Asdrubal Cabrera on Friday and both could be inserted right into the lineup vs. the Giants.
• The Mets have also scratched Steven Matz from starting on Friday and will replace him with Seth Lugo who they just called back up. He has pitched out of the bullpen this year and will make his first start.

The Cubs have a great matchup in Coors Field today vs. southpaw Tyler Anderson. They have a stacked lineup from top to bottom giving you a ton of options when forming your stacks. The Cardinals come in with a high 5.2 run projection tonight as they face off with Adam Morgan and the Phillies. The projections absolutely loves Pham tonight if he is back in the leadoff spot as he shows up in all 25 lineups on the optimizer for both sites. While the average isn't what we would like to see he has an impressive .350 OBP and 133 wRC+ on the season.
