Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good.
*Note - I am not listing the Texas Rangers or Chicago Cubs in the following stacks article as both teams were heavily discussed in the picks article and make terrific stacking options. Instead I am listing a few other viable options who were not discussed in length in the article.*
Washington Nationals vs. Jon Gray (Rockies)
Park - Coors Field
It 's pretty cut and dry in the early slate when it comes to stacks. The Nats are going to be the chalk but are easily in the best position to score big today with a high projected team total tat is approaching six runs. It should come as no surprise his splits are worse at home and he has been absolutely horrible as of late. In his last two starts he has surrendered 16 hits and 14 earned runs in just eight innings pitched. Daniel Murphy is the class of the offense right now and a front runner for the NL MVP with his elite .348 average to go with 22 home runs, 87 RBI and 71 runs scored. Bryce Harper appears to be getting back on track coming off a three hit game on Monday and has a RBI in three of his last four games. Another main hitter to consider in the stack is Jayson Werth who is also heating up with hits in six straight and is slashing .302/.388/.629 in August. You can also consider Trea Turner, Wilson Ramos and even Anthony Rendon as well today.
Cleveland Indians vs. Anthony Ranaudo (White Sox)
Park - Progressive Field
At the time of writing this it appears Vegas is having a tough time deciding how to set this game up. I am going to go ahead and guess the Indians are going to be large favorites in the -180 to -200 range with a projected team run line around 5-5.5 runs. The are the class of the AL Central division and lead by six games over the Tigers and only the Red Sox have scored more runs overall this season. They get an elite matchup tonight vs. one of the worst pitchers on the entire slate in Anthony Ranaudo. He made two early relief appearances in May giving up seven earned runs in four innings with eight walks and just two strikeouts. The White Sox brought him back at the end of July for a spot start which saw him give up just two hits in 6.2 innings but they both happened to be home runs. He also walked four and struck out just three batters. He will get a tough task today against Carlos Santana, Jason Kipnis, Francisco Lindor, and Mike Napoli who are the top stacking options in the lineup. For value you can also consider Jose Ramirez, Lonnie Chisenhall and Tyler Naquin.
Also Consider - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Jon Niese (Mets)

Chris do you mean Dodgers and not Rangers when you mention the stacks you won't list here? In your picks column, I only see Darvish and Lucroy but tons of Dodgers. Great site, love the content, just found it about a week ago. Keep it up.
