Opponent - OAK (Gray) Park - @OAK

The pitcher position is a pretty tough one today and there is only 2 guys I am really considering, Arrieta and Carlos Martinez. Arrieta, my favorite, is taking on the Oakland Athletics on the road in pitcher friendly Oakland Coliseum. The Athletics are absolutely atrocious against righties on the year with a .304 wOBA that is backed up by a 19% K rate and a 91 wRC+. Arrieta on the other hand, has been one of the most dominant pitchers in the league this year with a sub .260 wOBA against both right handers and left handers. While nobody is very safe on this slate, Arrieta is as close as you will get. If you are looking to pay down a bit, I would take a look at Carlos Martinez.
Opponent - SEA (Walker) Park - @SEA
FD - 30.24 DK - 20.41
Tyler Skaggs is a guy that has a ton of pedigree as he was a top prospect when coming up through the minors. It looks like he is finally coming around after struggling a bit through his first few stints in the majors. he has been exceptional on the season and I expect him to continue that trend here against the Seattle Mariners. The Mariners are a lot better against right handers as their top bats consist of lefties like Robinson Cano and Kyle Seager. Against lefties, the Mariners have sported a .315 wOBA that is backed up by .171 ISO and a 28% hard contact rate. Skaggs on the other hand, has been phenomenal against both lefties and righties. While the sample size is a bit too small to trust, his peripherals suggest they are not too far enough. While he is touch to trust in cash games, I do not mind it on a slate that is absolutely atrocious at pitcher.
Opponent - KC (Duffy) Park - @KC
FD - 32.56 DK - 21.5
If you are looking for a guy that is a bit safer, but more expensive, Aaron Sanchez is the way to go. Sanchez, who is currently in the CY Young race, has been dominant this year against both left handers and righties. Sanchez and the Blue Jays will be traveling to Kansas City, which means they will be playing in one of the best pitcher ballparks around, Kauffman Stadium. Against righties, the Royals have been the 27th worst team in the league with a .301 wOBA that is supported by a .310 BABIP and 20% strikeout rate. While Sanchez is not necessarily "safe", he certainly is when relative to the other options.
