A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!
We touched on Drew Smyly, Drew Pomeranz and J.A. Happ in the main article. We will now talk about 2 guys here. We usually touch on 3 guys here, but the pitching is absolutely horrible and I can't consciously recommend anyone else.

Matt Moore has been traded to the San Francisco Giants and will look to finally take the next step in his career. The Giants will be taking on the Philadelphia Phillies, a team that has been absolutely pitiful against left handers. In 900 plate appearances, the Phillies have sported a .289 wOBA that is backed up by a 23% strikeout rate and a league low 27% hard contact rate. Matt Moore on the other hand, has been great against lefties with a .284 wOBA that is backed up by a 28.9% hard contact rate and a 18.4% line drive rate. While it is very difficult to give Matt Moore a rousing endorsement, it is just the nature of the slate. While I will have 100% exposure to Smyly in cash games, tournaments are a whole different monster and I will have a bunch of exposure to Matt Moore.
Opponent - ATL (Jenkins) Park - @ATL
FD - 24.78 DK - 16.14
In the late slate, the pitching is absolutely ATROCIOUS. While I personally am not a big fan of Vogelsong, I will certainly have some exposure in tournaments. The Braves are absolutely horrible as a team and have exhibited a league low .290 wOBA on the season. Another reason that I like Vogelsong is the Pirates offense. I wrote up the Pirates offense in the stack article, which makes me very comfortable that Vogelsong will be able to get the win. The price is extremely low and it will give you the freedom to roster as many big bats as you possibly can. If you are able to stomach Vogelsong, I would go with a very risky selection of bats and go for the all or nothing win.
So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you. At the end of the post, we have our MLB eBook that you really ought to check out before setting even a single daily fantasy MLB lineup. It's free, below.
