A quick heads up - we post an updates article every day in the early afternoon, EST, to catch everyone up on how things are changing as a result of whatever news has come through. We also have great talks in the comments of that article. Hope to see you there!

Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good.

Stack Targets

Cleveland Indians vs. Kyle Gibson (MIN)

While the Indians didn't score 12 runs last night (it was the Twins), they still had a nice night putting up 5 runs. It obviously was not enough to win the game, but this is DFS! We just want our guys to score and hit dingers!

With that being said, I love an Indians' stack tonight. They will be going up against Kyle Gibson, who has struggled this season. On the year, he owns a 1.40 WHIP to go along with an ERA, FIP, SIERA and xFIP all over 4. This is a great matchup for one of the best teams in baseball, so go ahead and show them some love! It's their turn to score 12 runs!

My top 4 guys to stack: Mike Napoli, Francisco Lindor, Jason Kipnis and Jose Ramirez

Washington Nationals vs. Robbie Ray (WAS)

Robbie Ray has looked great as of late, but I'm still going to pick on him with the Nationals.

Like I mentioned yesterday, the D'backs bullpen is just awful and we saw it last night. They allowed 6 runs after Bradley's 8, so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw something similar to that again tonight.

While Ray sure has looked good, he draws a tough matchup against the Nats'. Not only have they been hot, but the also smash lefties. They own a .341 wOBA (5th in MLB) along with a .207 ISO (1st in MLB). The Nats' get a southpaw, a terrible bullpen and a hitter friendly park, what more can we ask for?!

My top 5 guys to stack: Anthony Redon, Trea Turner, Wilson Ramos and Bryce Harper, Daniel Murphy

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Dan Straily (CLE)

Dan Straily has been phenomenal as of late, but there is one problem: His peripherals are awful. While his ERA is in the 3's, his xFIP is all the way at 5.02 (yikes). I'm expecting him to blow up soon (more like tonight).

Not only do I like the matchup against Straily, but I also like the ballpark. They will be moving from Busch Stadium to Great American Ballpark, which will help their hitters tremendously.

The best part of the matchup isn't Dan Straily or the ballpark -- it's the bullpen! I mentioned how bad the D'backs bullpen is, but the Reds are even worst. They own a 5.24 ERA and 4.71 BB/9 (both highest in MLB), so if they can't get to Straily, I like their chances of getting to the bullpen.

My top 4 guys to stack: ( I recommend waiting to see what they do with their lineup, but for now I'll list some guys) Greg Garcia, Kolten Wong, Jeremy Hazlebaker and Matt Adams
