Pitching Targets
Note: We discussed Marcus Stroman and Bud Norris in the Main Article and will be going over a few more options below.
Opponent - WSH (Gonzalez) Park - @CLE

Oh man! I love the days we don't have a "clear-cut" starter on the mound, and today is one of those days! On days like these I tend to look for the guy with highest ceiling and that is, Danny Salazar.
Yes, Danny Salazar has to face Bryce Harper and Daniel Murphy, but besides those two guys, no one on that squad devours right-handed pitchers. They are in the middle-of-the-pack when it comes to facing righties, which puts Salazar in a great position.
Besides a solid matchup, Salazar is one of the top pitchers on the slate (if not the top pitcher), when it comes to raw talent. He owns a 27.4 K% (upside!) to go along with a 2.75 ERA. It's not the best of days for pitchers, but Salazar is very affordable and you have to love his upside.
Opponent - LAD (Norris) Park - @LAD
FD - 32.03 DK - 21.4
Like I mentioned before, pitching isn't a thing of beauty today, so go ahead and grab a guy with a ton of upside, and next on the list is, Chris Archer!
Chris Archer will be going up against the Dodgers, which is another team that is in the middle-of-the-pack against right-handed pitchers. Archer has had some tremendous games and then some awful games, so I recommend using him more as a GPP play today. He has not been as bad as his ERA suggests (4.60 ERA) as he owns a 3.59 xFIP. Besides a solid xFIP, Archer also owns a 27.3 K%, so if he's on, look for him to have one of the top fantasy performances of the night.
Opponent - CHW (Shields) Park - @CHW
FD - 29.93 DK - 19.39
I gave you two guys with a whole lot of upside, amd now I present to you a "safe play" in, Kyle Hendricks. He has been one of the most consistent pitchers this season, as he owns a 2.27 ERA to go along with a 3.32 FIP. Not only does he have one of the best ERA's this season, but he also draws a favorable matchup going up against the White Sox.
On the year, the White Sox offense has been very inconsistent and has had some struggles against right-handed pitchers. They own a .305 wOBA (24th in MLB) to go along with a .146 ISO (23rd in MLB), which shows us their inabilities to hit for power or a high average. To me, Kyle Hendricks is the safest pick of the night and has an excellent price tag on FanDuel.
So yeah, baseball season! And we've got some goodies you can take with you. At the end of the post, we have our MLB eBook that you really ought to check out before setting even a single daily fantasy MLB lineup. It's free, below.

I'm going Stroman & Kohler on DK in GPP. I'll go with whoever against San Diego & Philly. Savings equals money for BoSox bats.
