Stacking in DFS MLB is such an important concept if you’re looking to take down a big tournament on FanDuel or DraftKings. It’s also a good way to diversify cash games because the variance in baseball can mean wild swings (ahem) in the scoring on a particular slate. The concept is easy. You want to pile players from one or two teams into your lineups because those guys compound scores by helping each other score runs when the going is good.
Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Matt Garza (MIL)
It's another day with Garza on the bump. Which means that I know which team I am going to stack tonight, and that's the D'backs!
Matt Garza has had a rough going this season and I don't see things getting better for the veteran. He is coming into this contest sporting a 1.76 WHIP, 5.94 ERA and 4.96 xFIP. All of those numbers are just horrible and there is not a team in a better position than the D'backs tonight. The other thing that stood out to me, besides his high ERA and WHIP, was the fact that opponents own a 39.3% hard contact rate along with a .325 AVG against him. Sure the D'backs don't have the same firepower as some of the offenses in the league, but if you're looking for a team in the best position tonight, then look no further.
Top 4 guys from the D'backs: Jake Lamb, Jean Segura, Paul Goldschmidt and Phil Gosselin.
Houston Astros vs. C.C. Sabathia (NYY)
C.C. Sabathia sure looked good in the beginning of the year, but he's been struggling as of late. In his last five starts, he owns a 7.04 ERA to go along with a 1.57 WHIP. He's had trouble keeping opposing batters off base, which is why I will go ahead and stack the Houston Astros. Besides the fact that they are facing a pitcher that has had a tough time on the mound as of late, we all know the type of upside this offense, especially against a left-handed pitcher. So guys don't be shy and get some exposure to this Houston Astros' lineup.
Top 4 guys from the Astros: Jose Altuve, George Springer, Carlos Correa and Alex Bregman.
Boston Red Sox vs. Mike Pelfrey (BOS)
Happy Mike Pelfrey Day!!! It's been five days, so once again we are celebrating this wonderful holiday! Last Mike Pelfrey Day didn't go as planned, as he pitched a gem against the White Sox, but this time he will be facing a team that wears Red Sox, so look for this outing to be different!
Besides the fact that the Red Sox wear "red socks," they have one of the best offenses in the league, so go ahead and stack 'em all! Eat lots of cake today and enjoy this beautiful holiday! Go get it done, Sox'!
Top 4 guys from the Red Sox: Hanley Ramirez, David Ortiz, Mookie Betts and Xander Bogaerts.

Nice addition to include the names to target within the stack! Awesome work as usual!
well with Lamb possibly not playing with an elbow injury and overall bad numbers vs Garza I think the DBacks are a stretch today even with how bad Garza has been . On the other side you have Corbin who Who is top 5 in HR's allowed in the NL this year vs a Brewers team that has been hitting well. Bosox are an obvious stack that I also like. Blue Jays also appeal to me, more so on DK where you can get Bautista much cheaper than on FD.
totally agree with you Dan.. Dback offense is average at best when healthy and yes they have a good matchup but Boston, Houston, Texas and the Giants today i think are all better choices to stack!! also some good value pictures in Fister, Stroman and Liriano!! Bud Norris even in play as he gets the terrible hitting Rays!!
I do like Norris a lot tonight. Also like Koehler from the Marlins. He has handled the Phillies well especially in that park. Even Ervin Santana appeals to me vs a Braves he has good numbers against and for the most part don't hit well even though they don't strike out alot.
As for Hitting I agree with Boston, Milwaukee, Houston, Texas/Oakland, Baltimore and Cleveland all as better options than Arizona today. That being said watch the DBacks for for 15 runs and make us look like fools.
Crazy Slate , every lineup I put together looks shaky in one area or another. A true grind it out kind of day. Winning lineup will be a wild one today.
