I discussed Thor in the main article as my top pitcher of the entire slate in a matchup vs. the Royals that comes with the lowest total(6.5) of the day. I believe there is merit in fading Thor in large field GPP's as he could be high owned. Taking a shot with Duffy isn't as crazy as it sounds. Yes the opposing pitcher is elite but the offense is not. The Mets rank 27th in wOBA(.301) vs. left handed pitching while striking out (25.4%) more than any other team against southpaws. Duffy was moved into the rotation in mid May and has gone 2-1 in seven starts with a decent 3.25 ERA and elite 10.5 K/9 rate. He is due for some regression with a high 93.5% LOB rate and low .253 BABIP but it's jhard to ignore the matchup, especially if he comes in under 10% owned.

Bauer is great play in any format on FanDuel in the low $8K range but I would only recommend in GPP's on DraftKings with a price tag over $10K. He has been dominant recently allowing two earned or less in each of his last three starts while striking out 22 and walking just five batters. Bauer has also gone at least seven innings in each of those games. He gets a home matchup tonight vs. the Tampa Bay Rays who rank 23rd in wOBA(.304) vs. right handed pitching and striking out at a high 25.2% rate. He goes up against a tough opponent in Chris Archer who also has high K upside but for the money I will take the home pitcher.
