Top Tournament Stack
Blue Jays
Gallardo has only pitched in 18 innings this season, as he's coming off a shoulder injury, but he has not look well at all. He's only struken out 10% of the batters he has faced, while walking 8% of them. He is pitching to contact, which is never a good thing, especially when you will be going up against a powerful Jays' lineup. It's going to take some time for him to find his groove and be able to be an effective pitcher in the big leagues, but until then, go ahead and stack the Blue Jays! These guys put on a show last night (scored 13 runs), will be going up against a tired bullpen and a banged up pitcher. Everything favors the Jays' in this matchup; so don't think to hard and just stack against Gallardo.
The "Every Lineup" Guys
Max Scherzer FD 11500 DK 13900
Opponent - SD (Rea) Park - @SD
FD - 47.89 DK - 27.5
Max Scherzer is going up against the Padres. What more do I have to say? One of the most dominant pitchers in baseball will be going up against one of the worst offenses. This game will take place at spacious Petco Park, and the Padres own a 24.0 K% (4th highest in MLB) against right-handed pitchers. This matchup is just way too good to pass up on and I wouldn't be surprised if Scherzer finished this game with a no-no. He is the clear-cut top option on the day.
Carlos Correa FD 3700 DK 4000
Opponent - CIN (Wright) Park - @HOU
FD - 11.58 DK - 9.49
Carlos Correa was 70% owned in cash games last night's contest and had a very nice game. Tonight you can expect the same ownership percentages as he is still cheap and will be going up against southpaw, Cody Reed. Reed will be making his first start of the year, so it will be interesting to see how he pitches against a powerful offense. But one thing we do know, is that Correa devours left-handed pitchers. In his young career, he owns a .358 wOBA to go along with a .216 ISO. Look for him to have another nice night.
Sneaky Pitcher
Tim Lincecum FD 7600 DK 6100
Opponent - OAK (Triggs) Park - @OAK
FD - 27.52 DK - 13.13
It's definitely going to be interesting to see how the 32-year-old pitches in his debut with the Angels, but I say he goes out there and delivers a quality start. In his last outing (in AAA), he fanned eight hitters, walked one batter and didn't allow an earned run in seven innings pitched.
He will be going up against an Oakland team that isn't very good against right-handed pitchers. They own a .295 wOBA (27th in MLB) and .136 ISO (26th in MLB). They aren't a team that is going to strike out a ton (18.6 K%), but this is a nice matchup for Lincecum, and I'm expecting for him to have a smooth debut.

Dont see how you can leave matz out of the evening slate discussion
Matz is a decent K pitcher at times and faces the WORST team in baseball in Ks and scoring runs when facing lefties with only 8 dingers on the year trailing #1 Seattle by a whopping 28 HRs!
If Matz outscores Scherzer it wont be a surprise….and not to mention Matz should have support as Blair should get hit tonight as well
When was the last time the mets wowed anyone?
i guess you fell asleep the night they put 11 on the board a few nights ago
He was mentioned in our main article
Pricing for Michael Taylor is off by 200
Thoughts on Steven Moya and Brett Eibner? Both not in optimizer
Waiting for a fix still
Patrick. I’m seeing the prices aligned.
