Pitching Targets

*Note - I listed Lance McCullers, Joe Ross, and Matt Harvey in the Main Article and will list a couple more options below*

Jake Arrieta FD 11900 DK 12900
Opponent - PIT (Liriano) Park - @CHC
FD - 39.05 DK - 20.79

If you are playing the all day slate Arrieta can definitely be considered. Anytime the reigning CY Young winner is on the mound is worth considering in daily fantasy. While he doesn't get the love by the projection system due to the matchup, can still provide big upside and presents amazing value if people do decide to fade him for the most part. The lack of excitement stems from the matchup vs. the Pirates who are a top 10 vs. right handed pitching. They were once ranked in the Top 5 but have been struggling as of late losing seven of their last eight games. He dominated the Pirates in Pittsburgh back at the beginning of May going seven innings of shutout ball allowing just two hits while striking out five.

Robbie Ray FD 7300 DK 8400
Opponent - PHI (Morgan) Park - @PHI
FD - 33.22 DK - 17.81

If you are looking for a GPP play with upside tonight Robbie Ray just might be your guy. He gets a great matchup vs. the Phillies who rank 29th in team wOBA(.261) and wRC+(59) vs. left handed pitching while striking out over 23% of the time. Ray hasn't been flawless this year by any means as he has been blown up on four occasions allowing five earned in large part to the lack of control(4.17 BB/9). He does come with upside we want when paying down for a mid range pitcher as he is striking out over 10 batters per nine innings. His value is nice on both sites but the projection system favors him on FanDuel where he is the top PTS/$ play today.
