What We Know

One small weather concern

The brewers @ reds game is currently sitting around 40% rain chance, however, the rain should not last long and this game should be played.

Note - This game is currently in a rain delay.

Personnel

  • Giancarlo Stantonis taking Sunday off.
  • Billy Hamilton Eugenio Suarez and Zack Cozartare all taking the day. Time to look at guys like Tyler Holt and Ivan De Jesus
  • Yasiel Puig is out of the lineup.
  • David Peralta is out... WHY? this is the dream matchup.
  • Nelson Cruz is out of the lineup on Sunday.

The "Every Lineup" Guys

Chris Davis FD 3600 DK 4800
Opponent - OAK (Graveman) Park - @BAL
FD - 15.58 DK - 11.64

As mentioned in our top stacks article, the Orioles are in a great spot to produce in this one. Kendall Graveman has struggled against both sides of the plate and has struggled to keep the ball in play. This game will be played in one of the best hitters parks in the league, Camden Yards. Chris Davis has obliterated righties over the past couple years with a .404 wOBA and 44% hard contact rate. There is no reason to think Kendall Graveman is the magic right hander that shuts him down.

J.D. Martinez FD 2800 DK 3800
Opponent - TEX (Perez) Park - @DET
FD - 13.74 DK - 10.59
Justin Upton FD 3200 DK 3300
Opponent - TEX (Perez) Park - @DET
FD - 13.06 DK - 10.3

While I could of put Miguel Cabrera here as well, I didn't want to include 2 first baseman back to back. These 2 outfielders hit lefties extremely well and will get pitches to hit with them being surrounded by Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez. Upton and Martinez have both hit lefties well over the past couple years as evidenced by the .+.345 wOBA they possess. As mentioned throughout the day, Martin Perez is ready for some negative regression and it could certainly come today against the Tigers.

One other note: There are big differences between DraftKings and FanDuel pricing so the optimal lineups are looking quite different.

These are players that show up in each of the top 10 lineups as produced by our lineup optimizer. This doesn't necessarily mean that they're "safe," it just means that their projected weighted-mean point total is a solid building block for a great lineup foundation today.

Good luck out there today! If you want access to all of our numbers, get started with a free trial below of our lineup optimizer, on us!
