Goaltenders

Ben Bishop
Opponent - NYI
FD - 9800 DK - 8400

The time off after the first round proved to hurt more than it helped as the Bolts got outplayed early in their game one loss. Bishop was yanked after giving up four goals on 13 shots in the first period but will be back once again in game two. The Islanders have set the tone for the series and it's now up to the Lightning to swing back at home and even the series before heading to Long Island. Expect a better effort all around.

Matt Murray
Opponent - WAS
FD - 9200 DK - 8100

Murray was shaky in game one giving up some weak goals to T.J. Oshie who scored the OT winner for the Capitals as they took a 1-0 series lead. With Marc-Andre Fleury still dealing with concussion symptoms, Murray is in line for another start on Saturday night in game two. Look for a much better effort as the Penguins will want to even the series up before heading to Pittsburgh. This time of year with the small slates I only recommend GPP play and Murray is the cheapest of the four starters today.

CENTER

John Tavares
Opponent - TB
FD - 9600 DK - 7900

He leads all players with 11 points coming into game two and has tallied four multi point games in these playoffs. He leads by example on te ice and has was once again the best player on the ice. Alan Quine has benefited from playing alongside Tavares and provides excellent value in a stack as he has picked up points in three straight games and is just above the $3K price range on both sites.

Stack with - Kyle Okposo, Alan Quine

Nick Bonino
Opponent - WAS
FD - 5600 DK - 5100

He has provided excellent value in these playoffs as a mid $5K player. He scored a goal and added an assist in game on and has points in three straight games going back to the Ranger series. He doesn't get many shots but has two lineups who can snipe the puck and combined for 11 shots in game one. The Penguins will need another big effort from their second line if they are to tie up the series tonight.

Stack with  - Carl Hagelin, Phil Kessel

WINGERS

Nikita Kucherov
Opponent - NYI
FD - 8300 DK - 7500

He wasn't great in game one but he wasn't terrible either. He scored a goal on seven shots and played over 20 minutes which is just fine by me for fantasy. The Lightning got out paced early by the Islanders in game one and will need a better effort all around if they are to even things up before heading to Long Island for two games. Expect a much closer game with a great chance Kucherov and the top line make an impact.

Stack with - Tyler Johnson, Alex Killorn

Marcus Johansson
Opponent - PIT
FD - 5000 DK - 4500

He has been one of my favorite mid tier players this playoffs. He is hidden down on the third line for the Caps but is skating over 4:00 per game on the top PP unit with Ovechkin and company. After a five point outburst in his first three playoff games in 2016, he has cooled off with just one point in his last four. He is getting the opportunities and that's all we can ask for in a lower priced player. If the Pens can't stay out of the box look for the PP to tear the Pens apart.

Stack with on the PP - Alex Ovechkin, TJ Oshie, John Carlson, Nicklas Backstrom

DEFENSE

Kris Letang
Opponent - WAS
FD - 7900 DK - 7300

If you found enough value in your forwards today I would recommend paying up for Letang. He has been incredibly consistent in these playoffs with points in four straight and five of his six games. He has provided nice pheriferals as well with 15 shots and 11 blocks to go with six PIM's and a +4 rating.

Ben Lovejoy
Opponent - WAS
FD - 3000 DK - 3600

If you couldn't mine enough value to pay up for Letang take the discount with Levjoy on the Pens. He is considerably cheaper and coming off a game where he scored a goal on three shots and has points in two of his last three games. He also adds blocs for the bonus points on DraftKings.

Also Consider - Calvin De Haan - New York Islanders @ TB
