Goaltenders

Ben Bishop
Opponent - NYI
FD - 10200 DK - 8400

He was tremendous in the first round going 4-1 as he limited the Red Wings to two goals or less in each game and capping off the series with a 34 save shutout. He faces the Islanders who just finished a hard fought seven game series with the Florida Panthers. The Islanders had his number during the regular season winning two of the three games while scoring 21 ties on Bishop. It's a brand new season so I am wiping those stats away as I feel the Lightning are the better team defensively right now and should be able to come out in game one and get the win.

Frederik Andersen
Opponent - NAS
FD - 9500 DK - 8300

It has been a real up and down series for both teams and it's very fitting it will be going to a game seven. The Preds won the first two games in Anaheim before the Ducks made the change to Frederik Andersen in game three. They then went on to dominate three straight games and looked in full control until game six where the Preds and Ducks both played a very defensive game limiting the total shots to 53 on the night while the Preds were able to tally three goals in the win. That leads us up to tonight. I always favor the home team in game seven with the crowd behind them. Expect a low scoring, hard fought game with the Ducks coming out on top.

CENTER

Ryan Getzlaf
Opponent - NAS
FD - 7600 DK - 6800

The Ducks captain has lead the team with five points in the first six games and will be heavily relied on in a very important game seven at home. Although the Ducks have lost three straight home game sevens they have a ton more experience in this big games than the Predators who are playing in their first game seven. If Getzlaf can get Perry going alongside him the Ducks should roll over the Preds and be ready for all California matchup vs. the Sharks.

Stack with - David Perron, Ryan Garbutt, Corey Perry(PP)

Tyler Johnson
Opponent - NYI
FD - 6400 DK - 5900

Although he didn't record a point in the deciding game(they shutout the Red Wings 1-0), Johnson was excellent in the first round with seven points including six in the first two games in Tampa Bay. They will once again get home ice advantage and should come out flying and take early control of the series. If you are stacking lines make sure to include Nikita Kucherov who was also pretty amazing in the first round with eight points and three multi point efforts.

Stack with  - Nikita Kucherov, Alex Killorn

WINGERS

Jakob Silfverberg
Opponent - NAS
FD - 6200 DK - 5400

On a small two game slate you most likely won't be able to stack two top lines and will have to dig a little deeper for value. The Ducks second have 11 points combined in the opening round and make a terrific pivot off the top line tonight. Silfverberg should get a heavy dose of ice time as the Ducks will get last change tonight and most likely matching this line with the Preds top unit. In a projected low scoring tilt it could be anyone who puts on the cape and becomes the hero and is usually one of the lesser know players. Insert Silfverberg!

Stack with - Andrew Cogliano, Ryan Kesler

Jonathan Drouin
Opponent - NYI
FD - 4500 DK - 4400

After the holdout debacle in the regular season, Drouin returned to hockey in April and is playing a huge role for the Lightning here in the playoffs. He played in the 17-20 minute range in each of the Bolts five games in the first round and recorded four assists including his three point outburst in game four. Without Steven Stamkos out for at least this series the Lightning will again rely on Drouin to provide some added offense behind the top line of Kucherov, Johnson, and Killorn. He also gets PP time with the top unit. Great value play in the mid $4K range on both sites.

Stack with - Brian Boyle, Cedric Paquette

DEFENSE

Cam Fowler
Opponent - NAS
FD - 3600 DK - 4900
Sami Vatanen
Opponent - NAS
FD - 5200 DK - 5000

Value plays on defense will be the name of the game tonight with just two games on the slate. Fowler and Vatanen have seven points combined so far in the first round. Vatanen has been better even strength with a +4 rating while Fowler has been the powerplay igniter with all three of his points coming with the man advantage. Both make terrific picks on DraftKings at the same price point but take Fowler on FanDuel where he is close to $2K cheaper.

Calvin de Haan
Opponent - TB
FD - 3000 DK - 4100

He has been one of my favorite punt plays on DraftKings all season long. He provides minimal offense for the Islanders but can give you a stable floor at a cheap price due to his blocking ability on the point. He ranked 4th in the league during the regular season with 198 blocks and picked up 18 in the first round vs. the Florida Panthers. He provides nice salary relief to help pay up for a top line stack tonight.
