Welcome back to another night of daily fantasy hockey with DFSR. We have six games on the NHL schedule tonight with some terrific matchup as we head into playoff mode down the stretch. The big game tonight will be the LA Kings travelling to Chicago to face the Blackhawks. Both teams sit near the top of the Western Conference and are battling for their respective division titles. It should be a tight checking playoff atmosphere so you might want to target your offensive players from the other five games.

Goaltenders
John Gibson
Opponent - NJ
FD - 8100 DK - 7600
This is a great matchup for goaltending tonight as the Ducks fave the Devils. Both teams are in the bottom 5 in offense and top 5 in defense. I will give the advantage to the home goalie tonight and take Gibson as my #1 option. He has been terrific for the Ducks this year while splitting time with Frederik Andersen. Gibson has picked up 16 wins in 28 starts with a .919 save % and four shutouts. He will have a great opportunity to add to that total tonight.
Jake Allen
Opponent - CGY
FD - 9500 DK - 7800
He struggled out of the gate when he returned from injury but has since found his rhythm and is back on track. He has gone 6-3 in his last 9 starts for the Blues with a .916 save % and has averaged around five fantasy points per game on both sites. The Blues have a favorable matchup tonight as they travel to Calgary to face the Flames. While the Flames have been a better team on home ice, the Blues are a Top 5 team on the road this season and entrenched into a playoff battle in the Central Division. Allen is a safe pick in any format tonight.
Also Consider - Roberto Luongo - Florida Panthers @ NYI
CENTER
Mark Scheifele
Opponent - VAN
FD - 7000 DK - 5900
He has been on fire lately and comes into this matchup with points in seven straight and nine of his last 10 games. In that time he has tallied 16 points and provided a high floor with 36 shots on goal. The upside is also sky high as he has tallied four multi point games in those last 10 and gets a great matchup tonight vs. the Canucks who rank in the bottom third of the league in defense.
Stack with - Blake Wheeler, Drew Stafford
Aleksander Barkov
Opponent - NYI
FD - 6300 DK - 6400
The Florida Panthers top line has been one of the most consistent, affordable line stacks in the league this year. They had a dry spell which came when linemate Jonathan Huberdeau went down with injury but since he has returned(3 games) they have picked up right where they left off. Barkov has points in four of his last five games and has provides a nice floor with shot volume. It is one of the tougher matchups tonight vs. the Islanders but on a six game slate I wlil have multiple Panther stacks throughout cash games and tournaments.
Stack with - Jaromir Jagr, Jonathan Huberdeau
Also Consider - Ryan Getzlaf - Anaheim Ducks @ NJ
WINGERS
Daniel Sedin
Opponent - WPG
FD - 7400 DK - 6200
Sedin has been one of the few bright spots for the Canucks this season as he continues to produce at a high level. He leads the team in points(57) and has been fairly consistent averaging around 4 fantasy points per game on both sites. He has recorded 9 points in his last 10 games and added 30 shots on goal and a bonus 10 PIMs for FanDuel scoring. With Kane and the Hawks in tough facing the Kings tonight, I will e pivoting to Sedin in tournaments.
Stack with - Henrik Sedin, Jake Virtanen
Vladimir Tarasenko
Opponent - CGY
FD - 8100 DK - 7300
After a week or so of struggles, Tarasenko has found his touch again with back to back multi point games in huge wins vs. Dallas and Anaheim. The Blues are red hot right now winning six straight games and have climbed into a tie for first in the Central Division with Dallas. They now get a great shot at extending the streak vs. Calgary who ranks dead last in goals allowed per game.
Stack with - Jori Lehtera, Jaden Schwartz
DEFENSE
Kevin Shattenkirk
Opponent - CGY
FD - 4700 DK - 6600
With no high end options on the point tonight you can save up a bit and take Shattenkirk in a great matchup vs. the Flames. He is coming off a two goal game and has tallied 8 points(5 on the PP) in his last 10 games. He is more expensive on DraftKings as he gets rewarded for blocks(6 in last 3 games). He is, however, safe in all formats on both sites.
Cam Fowler
Opponent - NJ
FD - 4000 DK - 4400
If you are looking for low end value tonight, Fowler stands out as one of the best. He is paired with the talented and red hot Sami Vatanen on the top pairing for the Ducks. Unfortunately, Vatanen went down with an injury March 9th and is a question mark to return tonight. If he does sit out, Fowler should receive a boost in ice time and opportunity on the PP and makes a near must play on both sites with a salary in the mid $4K price range.
Also Consider - Jake Muzzin - Los Angeles Kings @ CHI

**Update** Frederik Andersen is starting for the Ducks tonight not John Gibson. Similar price and form.
Saturday night I did very well! I more than quintupled my investment in three contests! I’m looking to stay hot on the ice! Which line stacks are we going with today? I’ve got STL1 and NYI2
Okposo was moved to the first line…I’m thinking a red hot FL 2nd line stack…thoughts anyone?
I think Chris is giving sound advice to stay away from the Kings and Hawks tonight. As with any game, it could end up in a shoot out but we all know that defense and grind hockey comes out the closer we get to the playoffs with teams in the hunt.
Justin and Marcel – I am actually combining two of your choices into one lineup. Here we go:
As of 2pm, my top lineup is the following:
FL2 Barkov, Jagr, Huberdeau line paired with STL1 Tarasenkdo, Lehtera and Schwartz w/ Ekblad and Fowler at the point and Andersen in net. $0 salary remaining.
I am working on L2 and L3 right now and will post in a bit.
I totally agree and also think that Chris is legit, he seems to know his stuff very well. What’s people’s thoughts on the St. Louis 2ND line? Also if struggling Luongo is in net, Tavares may be a good play….sometimes this gets really hard with the choices…but I like to spread out my spend per team ratio in the Double ups, and 50/50’S. But that’s just me. I like the Ducks, but Kincaid has been decent, St. Louis seems to be heavy favored but they’ve been on the road alot, and Calgary plays decentlyo n home ice….argggh so may choices and scenarios..lol
I love that lineup Robsinson. Lots of upside for tonight. The Blues are red hot and finally scoring goals. Florida is also heating up since Huberdeau came back. Points in 3 three straight since returning.
I love Okposo on the first line with Tavares. Finally!!!!
Congrats Justin. I also had a great weekend, mostly on DK. Yesterday sucked but I hate Sundays. I play everyday now that I am doing articles daily. Even though there wasnt one yesterday. took a family day that my wife and girls deserved. Lets get back to cashing this week.
Robinson and Chris
Saturday night I won big because of your lineup help. I’m going with Robinsons lineup in one contest. I need a L2 and L3. I want Byfuglien and Doughty on D.
Love the article…
50/50 tonight going with
Lehtera.Mcheifele.C. Smith. R.Smith.Tarasenko.Hutton.Weber.Anderson.Jokinen
Update removed R.Smith and Jokinen.
Added D.Sedin and Perreault
Great comments guys – love the chat.
I am only going with 2 lineups tonight. Here is my L2:
Schwartz, Huberdeau, Jagr, Wheeler, Sherferle, Lehera, Ekblad, Gunbranson and Allen.
I am also doing a tourney with Tavares and Okposo to get some exposure there. Good luck tonight!
Good luck tonight everyone. I would have inputted more but I forgot it was Daylight Savings and here in Saskatchewan we don’t change our clocks so now lineup lock is an hour earlier. GRRRR. I also missed some picks in a slow draft for baseball this am. weird day. Time to cash. and drink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I am not sure how everyone else did, but tonight left a lot to be desired. I understand how circadian these things are so I look forward to trying again tomorrow!
I swung for the fences and ended up striking out, but every once and while you connect on one and go yard!
