Now let’s look at some news that’s come in throughout the day to see if anything’s changed in our minds or in the NBA landscape. It's a shorter slate and a light news day, but we'll be updating as stuff rolls in. Also throw out some ideas in the comments and we can take it from there.

Raul Neto is out, Shelvin Mack is in
Mack put up a great line in his first effort since being acquired by the Jazz, and it wouldn't shock me to see him repeat that performance again on Tuesday. On a short slate, he looks like a very attractive punt option now that he's been handed the starting keys. Updating the system now, and assuming he'll start showing up in some optimal lineups.

Omri Casspi and Marco Belinelli are back.
This pushes Gay's projection down slightly, and makes Darren Collison irrelevant.

Trevor Ariza's minutes remain in tact in Thornton's absence
This one is almost cheating. KJ McDaniels was the main beneficiary of Thornton' absence, but Houston will take any excuse to play Ariza big minutes. It can't hurt for everyone involved in Houston that Thornton's 18 minutes a game are still available. I told you it was a slow news day.

The "every lineup" guys

Victor Oladipo - FD 6800 DK 6700
Opponent - PHI
FD Proj. Pts - 35.44 DK Proj. Pts - 37.07
The position is bad enough to where Oladipo stands head and shoulders above his peers. Jennings' arrival hasn't impacted him negatively as much as Harris' departure seems to have impacted him positively, and Oladipo will be in all of my lineups tonight.

Danilo Gallinari - FD 7100 DK 7100
Opponent - SAC
FD Proj. Pts - 33.48 DK Proj. Pts - 36.26
Another guy who seems to rise above his peers at a bad position, Gallo has been logging big minutes with lots of usage while remaining reasonably priced. Sacramento has played a top 3 pace all year, and they totally lack a perimeter guy with either the ability or interest in chasing Gallinari's max-effort offensive game around.

DeMarcus Cousins - FD 10900 DK 11200
Opponent - DEN
FD Proj. Pts - 51.66 DK Proj. Pts - 52.28
Honorable mention for Boogie, who appears in just 9 of our top 10 optimal lineups. It makes sense - he put up video game numbers (37 and 20 with 4 blocks) against these Nuggets 4 days ago, and it's a short late. Gotta spend up somewhere, and while our system really likes Anthony Davis, Cousins stands head and shoulders above the rest.
