We are back for another night of DFS hockey with 9 games on the NHL schedule. There is going to be some terrific opportunities in the coming week as the NBA starts its All Star break following a small two game slate tonight. The NFL has wrapped up following the Super Bowl. And if you are not prepping for next weeks Northern Trust Open on the PGA its hockey, hockey, hockey.
Let's dig in to the action and find some core plays for tonight.

With Jonathan Quick day to day after an injury last time out, Enroth should get the start tonight for the Kings. He is a cheap affordable option if you still want to get a piece of the Kings goaltending tonight. If you want another high end goalie look towards Holtby in GPP formats as he is the most expensive option on both sites.
Opponent - TOR
FD - 7200 DK - 7000
He is not the safest pick on the board as the Oilers are a young team in the growth stages. Dig a little deeper and you will see why he makes a great value on Thursday. While the record doesn't reflect how well he has played lately he has recorded a .922 save % in his past 10 games. As you would expect he has struggled in tough matchups but taken advantage of the softer ones. He gets a soft one Thursday as he gets a home matchup vs. the Leafs who rank 27th in goals scored per game. Take a shot with Talbot in GPP's and load up on elite forwards.
Also Consider - Joonas Korpisalo - Columbus Blue Jackets vs. ANH
Opponent - OTT
FD - 6600 DK - 6600
His salary keeps dropping making it a great time to jump on board in tournaments. While he has only picked up five points in his last 10 games he has added around 3.5 shots per game giving him a nice floor while he goes through a mini slump. In his 3rd full NHL season, it is crazy he is still only 20 years old with so much to learn in the pro game. He is currently on pace to match or pass his career high of 63 points from his rookie season and carries multi point upside into most every game.
Stack with - Matt Duchene, Mikhail Grigorenko
Opponent - BOS
FD - 5600 DK - 5300
He's backkkkk! He was a favorite value play early on in the season who provided a high floor firing a ton of shots on goal. He then got hurt and was placed on IR for three weeks. He came back strong picking up points in his first four games and not scoring less than 2.2 DK points and no negative point games on FanDuel. He will look to score his first goal since mid December tonight in a matchup vs. the Bruins who gave up 9 goals their last time out.
Stack with - Mathieu Perreault, Drew Stafford
Also Consider - Evgeny Kuznetsov - Washington Capitals @ MIN
Opponent - CBJ
FD - 7300 DK - 6500
He has been playing terrific since the All Star break recording five points in five games while firing 12 shots on goal. After a very slow start to the season Perry has now has 38 points in 52 games. Even with the awful start to the season for the Ducks as a whole they sit 3rd in the Pacific Division, 1 point behind the Sharks. If they are to make it to the playoffs they are going to need their Stars to carry them offensively. Insert Perry.
Stack with - Rickard Rakell, Patrick Maroon, Ryan Getzlaf(PP)
Opponent - COL
FD - 5100 DK - 5500
With the Senators playing on back to back nights he should only be considered in GPP formats. He has provided excellent value lately scoring five goals in his last four games on 11 shots on net. The ice time has fluctuated between 16 and 20 minutes a game and he is getting a run on the powerplay averaging over three minutes a game.
Stack with - Zack Smith, Jean Gabriel Pageau
Also Consider - Patrick Kane - Chicago Blackhawks vs. DAL
Opponent - NYI
FD - 6400 DK - 6100
He is about as close to Erik Karlsson as any other D man in the Norris Trophy discussion. On the season he has recorded 33 points (17 on the PP) with an impressive +15 rating while averaging close to 28 minutes of ice time per game. He has been especially red hot in his previous 10 games with 10 points(6 on the PP) with 23 shot and 11 blocks. The Kings get a great matchup vs. the Islanders who they have beat in each of the last two meetings. With a projected low total, he may lack upside tonight but is a great play if you want to pay up for D man in Cash games.
Opponent - OTT
FD - 4400 DK - 5500
He is best suited for DraftKings as they award points for blocked shots. He is currently ranked 9th in the league averaging over 2.5 blocks per game which helps provides a nice floor for cash games. He has also added some offense lately with four points in his last seven games with 13 shots on goal.
Also Consider - Matt Dumba - Minnesota Wild vs. WSH
