Welcome to the Week 15 DFS NFL picks article for Draftpot, a brand new way to play fantasy sports. Draftpot is similar to other DFS sites except there is no salary cap restrictions. They offer two separate game types(Fan Mode/GM Mode). For NFL, Fan Mode allows you to build a roster of 1 QB,2 RB,3 WR,1 TE,2 FLEX,1 K,1 DEF without salary restrictions. You can roster anyone you want. In GM Mode, you also roster the same positions but have a Drafpot Points Per Game(DPPG) cap. Each player have a PPG value attached to their name which is a reflection of their previous 16 games played. This gives a more transparent look at player value.

When making my picks I will be looking at a multitude of information (Vegas lines, totals and player props, targets, defensive matchups, injuries, offensive line rankings and of course DPPG) to break down all the players in the pool to provide you with the best analysis possible for the slate at hand.
If you missed out on Week 13 at DraftPot, you missed out on some excellent guaranteed prize pools at every level of buyin:
Also, don't forget about the "No Rake" head to head contests. A great way to maximize your profit and build your bankroll!
To win a tournament in Fan Mode you won't be able to just pick the top players at their positions each week. You will need to differentiate yourself with some low ownership picks. One way I love doing this is picking good players who are coming off a bad to horrible week. Recency bias plays a huge part in daily fantasy and is something we can use to our advantage to gain an edge on the field in large field GPP tournaments. I feel there is a tremendous opportunity for this here in week 14 with the number of poor performances by top players last week.
Carson Palmer - Arizona Cardinals (DPPG - 20.63)
Opponent- @ PHI
He sits 2nd in the league with 4,003 passing yards and 31 passing touchdowns. He will be an elite option again this week as the Cards travel to Philly to face the Eagles who have allowed the most points to QB's over the last three weeks. They have given up an average over 300 passing yards and three touchdowns. This is a perfect recipe for fantasy gold on Sunday.
Stack With - John Brown, Larry Fitzgerald
Matthew Stafford - Detroit Lions (DPPG - 17.47)
Opponent- @ NO
He should be a lower owned option this week and has a great matchup on Monday Night Football. The Lions travel to New Orleans in the highest projected scoring game of the week. With a lack of a consistent run game, Stafford chucks the ball up a ton(no less than 30 attempts in a game this year). He hasn't recorded a 300+ yard passing game since Thanksgiving but is in a great spot to break out Monday Night.
Stack With - Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate, Theo Riddick
Also Consider: Tom Brady - New England Patriots vs. TEN (22.08 DPPG)
Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings (DPPG - 14.49)
Opponent- vs. CHI
He wasn't completely shut down by the Cardinals last week as he picked up most of his 69 yards in the Vikings opening drive and picked up the TD. The Vikings fell behind and again gameflow fell out of his favor. This won't be the case this week as the Vikings host the Bears who AP has destroyed in his career. He has averaged 5.03 yards per carry in 13 career games for 1499 yards and 14 TD's. Look for the dominance to continue as the Vikes drive for the playoffs continues.
David Johnson - Arizona Cardinals (DPPG - 10.79)
Opponent- @ PHI
He has been less than 10 yards short of 100 yards rushing in both of the last two games and has picked up seven receptions for 52 receiving yards in that time. He is now the lead back in the Cards high powered offense and puts up points no matter the gameflow. He is safe for cash games and has the upside in this matchup for GPP tournaments.
Also Consider: Denard Robinson - Jacksonville Jaguars (7.20 DPPG)
Calvin Johnson - Detroit Lions (15.91 DPPG)
Opponent- @ NO
He should be under owned this week as he is coming off a dud the last two weeks. He only recorded one reception for 16 yards last week and three receptions for 44 yards the week before. He did salvage a TD in that game to put up 13. 4 DraftPot points. My favorite stack of the week will be the Lions passing offense on the road in New Orleans. If you are making multiple lineups I really don't mind stacking Stafford with both WR's(Johnson & Tate).
John Brown - Arizona Cardinals (10.46 DPPG)
Opponent- @ PHI
In his previous four games he has recorded 18 receptions for 333 yards and two touchdowns. Even with the recent consistency he will be a GPP only this week as Carson Palmer has three other receivers(Fitzgerald, Floyd, Johnson) he likes to target. The Eagles present a fantastic matchup for the Cards passing game in a potential high scoring game.
Also Consider: Deandre Hopkins - Houston Texans (DPPG 18.57)
Rob Gronkowski - New England Patriots (DPPG - 18.50)
Opponent- vs. TEN
He returned from injury last game and proved he was healthy with a four reception, 87 yard game with a touchdown. He is, by far, the best TE option every week he suits up and gets an elite matchup this week vs. the Titans.
Julius Thomas - Jacksonville Jaguars (DPPG - 9.54)
Opponent- vs. ATL
If you are going to fade Gronk this week I would recommend using Thomas in his place. He has recorded a touchdown in four straight games and the Jags passing offense has been a high upside play lately. Bortles has progressed nicely at the QB position making Thomas, Hurns, Robinson and even Denard Robinson a nice fantasy play almost every week.
Also Consider - Jordan Reed - Washignton Redskins (DPPG - 14.00)
Seattle Seahawks (DPPG - 11.13)
Opponent- vs. CLE
The Hawks defense is a close auto play this week at home. The Browns come to town with Johnny Manziel as their starting QB for the rest of the season(Barring any more trips to Vegas to party!). While he had a decent game vs. SF last week, this is a road game in one of the toughest stadiums to play. Not to mention the Seahawks elite defense.
Houston Texans (DPPG - 8.13)
Opponent- @ IND
The Texans defense has been a bit of a disappointment this year but they get an elite matchup this weekend as they travel to Indianapolis. The Colts have struggled for most of the year and will be resorting to third string QB Charlie Whitehurst. The opportunity for multi sack/turnover upside will definitely be there Sunday.
Chris Boswell - Pittsburgh Steelers (DPPG - 13.11)
Opponent- vs. DEN
The offense will have to face a tough Denver defense but should be able to move the ball between the 20 yard lines. The issue could come in the red zone and that bodes well for the kicker who could see some extra field goal attempts.
