Welcome to the Week 11 DFS NFL picks article for Draftpot, a brand new way to play fantasy sports. Draftpot is similar to other DFS sites except there is no salary cap restrictions. They offer two separate game types(Fan Mode/GM Mode). For NFL, Fan Mode allows you to build a roster of 1 QB,2 RB,3 WR,1 TE,2 FLEX,1 K,1 DEF without salary restrictions. You can roster anyone you want. In GM Mode, you also roster the same positions but have a Drafpot Points Per Game(DPPG) cap. Each player have a PPG value attached to their name which is a reflection of their previous 16 games played. This gives a more transparent look at player value.

When making my picks I will be looking at a multitude of information (Vegas lines, totals and player props, targets, defensive matchups, injuries, offensive line rankings and of course DPPG) to break down all the players in the pool to provide you with the best analysis possible for the slate at hand.
If you missed out on Week 10 at DraftPot, you missed out on a large amount of overlay. Don't worry though. They are doing it again this week with their $15 entry, $75,000 Guarantee Touchdown Fan Mode tournament. It pays $15,000 to first and is bound to have more overlay again this weekend. Get in on the action while there is still time.
To win a tournament in Fan Mode you won't be able to just pick the top players at their positions each week. You will need to differentiate yourself with some low ownership picks. One way I love doing this is picking good players who are coming off a bad to horrible week. Recency bias plays a huge part in daily fantasy and is something we can use to our advantage to gain an edge on the field in large field GPP tournaments. I feel there is a tremendous opportunity for this here in week 2 with the number of poor performances by top players last week.
Derek Carr - DPPG - 16.39
Opponent- DET
He is coming off 3 straight 300+ yard throwing games and has multiple TD's in 4 straight games. He gets a great matchup on Sunday vs. the Lions who are ranked close to last in the league in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks.
Brock Osweiler - (DPPG - 8.00)
Opponent- CHI
He will be taking over for Peyton Manning this week and makes a great value play in GM Mode under 10.0 DPPG but might be highly owned in Fan Mode. He is a very tall QB who can scramble out of the pocket if needed and make the throws downfield. He looked good in mop up duty last week and targeted top WR Thomas early and often. The run game in Denver has been non existent and if the Bears can keep it relatively close Osweiler could attempt over 25 passes easily.
Also Consider: Matt Ryan - Atlanta Falcons (18.76 DPPG)
Devonta Freeman - (DPPG - 16.46)
Opponent- IND
Before the bye week, Freeman put up two average games rushing but got 6 and 8 receptions in those two games. After a bye week to rest he should be well rested and ready for another huge day vs. the Colts who are ranked near the bottom in fantasy points allowed to running backs.
Charcandrick West - (DPPG - 5.97)
Opponent- SD
With Charles out for the season, West has filled in nicely as the work horse back in the Chiefs offense. He has now put up 3 straight games of 20+ DraftPot points. He is safe in all formats as he also gets around 5 targets a game in and has multiple receptions in 3 straight games.
Also Consider: Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings vs. GB (15.73DPPG)
Julio Jones - (22.32 DPPG)
Opponent- IND
He is coming off 2 straight games of 135+ yards receiving before the bye week but has only 2 TD's in his last 6 games. Coming out of the bye, I expect the Falcons to come out gunning in the first half. He has a tough matchup vs. Vontae Davis(Colts best CB) but the Falcons move Julio around the formation while Davis covers one side of the field about 80% of time. I expect a huge game from Julio.
Demaryius Thomas - (18.48 DPPG)
Opponent- CHI
Thomas has been struggling lately and I believe a lot of that production dip is due to Peyton Manning's lack of arm strength. That won't be a problem on Sunday as Brock Osweiler is taking over for the Broncos at QB. He came in to the game in the second half vs. the Chiefs and targeted Thomas at least 7 times that I counted watching the video. Most people might shy away from the young QB and Thomas combo and that makes it an even better play in Fan Mode.
Also Consider: Mike Evans - TB Buccaneers (DPPG 14.25)
Jordan Reed - (DPPG - 10.83)
Opponent- CAR
It is an average matchup as the Panthers sit in the middle of the league in fantasy points allowed to Tight Ends. When he is healthy and in the lineup, QB Kirk Cousins loves to target his TE, especially in the end zone. He has recorded a TD in 3 straight games and has 5 in total in those 3 games. If game flow goes as planned, The Redskins will be down in the second half and needing to throw the ball a ton.
Eric Ebron - (DPPG - 6.66)
Opponent- OAK
His DPPG is a bit of an alarm and a sign of the Devil(6.66) but I love the matchup this week. The Raiders give up the most fantasy points to Tight Ends and Ebron has the ability to not only get yards but is a big target in the red zone. That is if the Lions can get there. Great play in large field tournaments as he should be less than 5% owned.
Also Consider - Greg Olsen - Carolina Panthers vs. WSH (DPPG - 14.14)
Seattle Seahawks vs. SF (DPPG - 10.88
When the Seahawks are at home they should always be considered. When they are at home vs. a horrible team with a bad QB, they should be locked in to a very high % of your lineups.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. TB (DPPG - 8.13)
A great option if you are looking to pivot off the high owned Seahawks this week. They have 3+ sack in 4 of their last 5 games and present huge upside in a game vs. turnover friendly Jameis Winston and the TB Buccaneers.
Cairo Santos - KC Chiefs @ SD (DPPG - 10.81)
He is a great pivot off the most popular kicker, Gostowski. The Chiefs are ranked 20th in red zone TD conversion which has been giving Santos plenty of opportunities. He is coming off a 5 FG, 26 DraftPot Fantasy Point effort against Denver and should be in line for another big game in San Diego.
