Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings, FanDuel, and DraftPot for Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Tonight we are going to focus on some of the top picks from our FanDuel & DraftKings Hockey Lineup Tool. We have been tweaking the product since the start of season and things are coming together nicely. New metrics are being tested and results have been positive. Lets now dig in to the matchups and find some core plays for Tuesday night.

 

GOALIES

Reto Berra - Colorado Avalanche @ TOR *CONFIRMED*
DraftKings - $6,800 FanDuel - $8,500 DraftPot - 6.70 DPPG
Sits right near the top of our projections for Tuesday in a matchup on the road in Toronto vs. the Leafs. Berra has been incredible to start the year with a .953 save% and has only allowed more than 2 goals once in his first 8 starts. He hasn't been as lucky in the win department going 4-3, but should be in line for a win on Tuesday.

Pekka Rinne - Nashville Predators vs. ANH *PROBABLE*
DraftKings - $8,100 FanDuel - $9,100 DraftPot - 4.30 DPPG
It has been a wonderful start to the year for both Rinne and the Preds. The team is 10-3-3 with a +12 goal differential and they are 6-1-2 at home in 2015/16. Rinne, himself, is 9-2 on the year with a .918 save % and 2 shutouts. The Ducks come to town on Tuesday night and they are playing in a back to back game on the road. It's a favorable matchup for Rinne and the Preds as they are the biggest favorites on the board on Tuesday night.

CENTER

Tyler Seguin - Dallas Stars @ BUF
DraftKings - $9,000 FanDuel - $8,800 DraftPot - 5.23 DPPG
He sits 2nd in the DraftKings and 1st in the FanDuel projections and enters a positive matchup on paper vs. BUF allowing 2.7 goals per game(20th). He has 26 points on the year and is 3rd in the league averaging 24.6 CF/60. The Stars top line of Seguin, Benn, and Sharp make a great tournament stacking option and one or two should be in your cash lineups on Tuesday.

Adam Henrique - New Jersey Devils @ CGY
DraftKings - $4,700 FanDuel - $4,200 DraftPot - 3.95 DPPG
He is a great salary relief option on Tuesday as the Devils travel to Calgary to face the Flames. Henrique has 14 points on the year with a +8 rating. He is more of a GPP play as his production is very streaky. He has 5 points in his last 4 games and this is a great time to jump on board.

WINGERS

James Neal - Nashville Predators vs. ANH
DraftKings - $6,400 FanDuel(RW) - $6,400 DraftPot - 5.08 DPPG
He is a great cash game play and great value around the industry. His floor is high averaging almost 4 shots on goal per game and is in the top 10 in CF/60(21.6). The Preds are ranked 7th in league scoring and are at home tonight vs. the Ducks.

Matt Duchene - Colorado Avalanche @ TOR
DraftKings(C) - $5,400 FanDuel(RW) - $8,200 DraftPot - 5.08 DPPG
He has been absolutely tearing it up lately with 3 straight multi point games and has 12 points in his last 7 games. The Avs have won 3 straight games and enter another favorable matchup in Toronto Tuesday night as the Leafs rank 21st in goals against on the year.

Patrick Sharp - Dallas Stars @ BUF
DraftKings - $6,200 FanDuel(RW) - $7,200 DraftPot - 4.38 DPPG
Great price for a player on the top producing line(Sharp, Benn, Seguin) in the NHL. Sharp has been red hot lately with a 5 game point streak and he has points in 9 of his last 10 games. His floor will remain high as he is averaging 18.5 CF/60(24th in NHL) and is sitting with a nice 12.7 shooting percentage.

DEFENSE

Roman Josi - Nashville Predators vs. ANH
DraftKings - $6,400 FanDuel - $6,500 DraftPot - 3.80 DPPG
If I am paying up for a D man, Josi is always at the top of my list when the Preds are playing. He is safe option on DraftKings & DraftPot where blocked shots are counted. He averages 13.1 CF/60 and has got 18 of those attempts on goal in the last 5 games. Makes a terrific balanced cash game lineup pick for tonight.

Kris Russell - Calgary Flames vs. NJ
DraftKings - $4,500 FanDuel - $5,200 DraftPot - 1.78 DPPG
Another great cash game play on DraftKings & DraftPot at a terrific price point. He offers a high floor as the NHL leader in blocked shots with nearly 4 per game. His offensive upside is capped with only 3 points on the year and awful -11 rating. Do not use on FanDuel.
