Welcome to the Week 10 DFS NFL picks article for Draftpot, a brand new way to play fantasy sports. Draftpot is similar to other DFS sites except there is no salary cap restrictions. They offer two separate game types(Fan Mode/GM Mode). For NFL, Fan Mode allows you to build a roster of 1 QB,2 RB,3 WR,1 TE,2 FLEX,1 K,1 DEF without salary restrictions. You can roster anyone you want. In GM Mode, you also roster the same positions but have a Drafpot Points Per Game(DPPG) cap. Each player have a PPG value attached to their name which is a reflection of their previous 16 games played. This gives a more transparent look at player value.

When making my picks I will be looking at a multitude of information (Vegas lines, totals and player props, targets, defensive matchups, injuries, offensive line rankings and of course DPPG) to break down all the players in the pool to provide you with the best analysis possible for the slate at hand.
If you missed out on Week 9 at DraftPot, you missed out on a large amount of overlay. Don't worry though. They are doing it again this week with their $15 entry, $75,000 Guarantee Touchdown Fan Mode tournament. It pays $15,000 to first and is bound to have more overlay again this weekend. Get in on the action while there is still time.
To win a tournament in Fan Mode you won't be able to just pick the top players at their positions each week. You will need to differentiate yourself with some low ownership picks. One way I love doing this is picking good players who are coming off a bad to horrible week. Recency bias plays a huge part in daily fantasy and is something we can use to our advantage to gain an edge on the field in large field GPP tournaments. I feel there is a tremendous opportunity for this here in week 2 with the number of poor performances by top players last week.
Blake Bortles - Jacksonville Jaguars @ BAL (DPPG - 16.71)
Both teams are ranked in the bottom five of the league in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks so I am expecting a higher scoring game with a ton of passing. Bortles has thrown for 300+ yards in 3 of his last 4 games and multiple TD's in all four of those games. Look for another strong performance from him on Sunday.
Kirk Cousins - Washington Redskins vs. NO (DPPG - 16.33)
Would only recommend him for large tournaments as he has been boom or bust but presents 30 point upside in this matchup. The Saints have given up the most fantasy points to quarterbacks on the year and nothing should change on Sunday. The Saints should win the game and lead for most of it which is going to force the Redskins to throw 30+ times. Cousins should be getting Desean Jackson back which is an added bonus as he is good for 3 or 4 shots deep each game.
Also Consider: Eli Manning - New York Giants (19.36 DPPG)
DeAngelo Williams - Pittsburgh Steelers vs. CLE (DPPG - 8.17)
With Lev Bell out for the year, it will be Williams carrying the load for the Steelers and if Big Ben misses the game this Sunday he should see even more touches. He is coming off a monster performance vs. the Raiders with 170 rushing yards, 55 receiving yards and 2 Touchdowns. This week he will be at home vs. the Browns who are near the bottom of the league in fantasy points allowed to running backs. If you are playing GM mode he is a great value.
James Starks - Green Bay Packers vs. DET (DPPG - 8.06)
Was named the starter for this weekends tilt vs. the Lions. Comes in at a great value if you are playing GM mode and should be fairly low owned in Fan Mode as well. He catches the ball well which adds to projected output for Sunday. The upside is capped, however, with Lacy still taking some of the touches but I am not concerned as Lacy has been awful.
Also Consider: Demarco Murray - Philadelphia Eagles (17.68 DPPG)
Odel Beckham Jr. - New York Giants vs. NE (24.49 DPPG)
He is averaging over 10 targets a game in the Giants offense and has been producing with those opportunities. He has 59 receptions with 759 yards and 7 TD's so far and enters a great matchup vs. the Patriots who are ranked in the bottom half in fantasy points allowed to WR's. The Giants should be down in this game and forced to throw a ton in the second half.
Demaryius Thomas - Denver Broncos vs. KC (18.83 DPPG)
The Chiefs are ranked dead last in fantasy points allowed to WR's and Thomas is an elite WR coming off a down game. Earlier this year when he faced KC on the road he picked up 8 receptions for 116 yards and I see no reason why we won't see a similar line Sunday in Denver.
Also Consider: Allen Robinson - Jacksonville Jaguars (DPPG 15.69)
Rob Gronkowski - New England Patriots @ NYG (DPPG - 20.36)
If you are paying up for a TE in GM Mode, Gronk is the guy this week. He let us down last week but I can see a monster game coming in New York this Sunday. The Giants are a bottom ranked team in fantasy points allowed to tight ends. In Fan Mode he is going to be high owned but I don't see a TE this week that is close to his ceiling.
Gary Barnidge - Cleveland Browns @ PIT (DPPG - 9.77)
If you want to pivot off the projected highest owned TE in Gronk, Barnidge makes a great option this week. Before his pedestrian performance last week he had put up 6 straight games of either 100 yards or a TD. The Browns head to Pittsburgh for a game on Sunday vs. the Steelers who are in the bottom third of the league in fantasy points allowed to TE's.
Also Consider - Greg Olsen - Carolina Panthers @ TEN (DPPG - 13.31)
Philadelphia Eagles vs. MIA (DPPG - 9.63)
They are coming off a 4 sack, 1 Int week where they also picked up a defensive TD. They have multi sack, Int, TD upside and can rack up the points in a hurry. Nice matchup at home vs. the Dolphins.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. HOU (DPPG - 6.88)
At home vs. the Texans and if they can stop Hopkins from going nuts they have a chance to rack up some fantasy points with the multiple sack and Int upside.
Justin Tucker - Baltimore Ravens vs. JAX (DPPG - 11.0)
Playing at home in a possible high scoring game vs. the Jaguars. Baltimore is ranked 19th in the NFL in red zone efficiency and have been worse than 50% in their last 3 games. This has been giving Tucker a ton of FG opportunities.
