Welcome to the daily fantasy hockey picks article for DraftKings, FanDuel, and DraftPot for Saturday, November 14, 2015. After a light night on Friday, the NHL is back with 12 games for the night slate on Saturday. There are four teams(CBJ, PIT, SJ, DET) playing on back to back nights and two teams(EDM, PIT) playing a third game in four nights. It looks like there will be some backup goalies going on Saturday which opens up some GPP options but for the most part in cash games we will be looking for the cheapest option as the biggest favorite and preferably at home.

Lets now dig in to the matchups and find some core plays for Saturday night.

 

GOALIES

Mike Condon - Montreal Canadiens vs. COL *PROBABLE*
DraftKings - $7,500 FanDuel - $8,700 DraftPot - 5.93 DPPG
As of writing this piece the Habs are the biggest favorites on Saturday night at home vs. the Avalanche. With Price sidelined with an injury Condon has filled in nicely and still not received a loss in regulation time. He is rolling with a 6-0-2 record and .936 save % and will look to shut down the Avs on Saturday night.

Jeff Zatkoff - Pittsburgh Penguins @ NJ *PROBABLE*
DraftKings - $7,100 FanDuel - $9,100 DraftPot - 3.00 DPPG
He is priced as a starter on FanDuel but is a great value on DraftKings and Draftpot. The odds are not released at this time but I would bet the Pens are fairly big favorites vs. the Devils who have been better on the road this year and over performing for the talent they have. Expect the Pens to get back on track Saturday after a loss on Friday at home to the Blue Jackets.

Also Consider - Ben Bishop - TB Lightning vs. FLA

 

CENTER

Steven Stamkos - Tampa Bay Lightning vs. FLA
DraftKings - $7,500 FanDuel - $8,700 DraftPot - 2.93 DPPG
After a slow start he now has points in 5 of his last 6 games with goals in 4 of those games. Tampa Bay are favorites on Saturday and the offense is finally flowing through the first line and Stamkos. He is cheaper than Crosby on all sites and provides a higher floor at this point in the season.

Jeff Carter - LA Kings vs. EDM
DraftKings - $6,000 FanDuel - $8,000 DraftPot - 4.72 DPPG
He has been a very consistent fantasy option as he is averaging 18.2 CF/60 with 15 points and a +7 rating. Enters a favorable matchup at home vs. the Oilers who are giving up an average of 3.18 goals per game.

Also Consider Jack Eichel - Buffalo Sabres vs. SJ

 

WINGERS

Max Pacioretty - Montreal Canadiens vs. COL
DraftKings - $8,000 FanDuel(LW) - $8,900 DraftPot - 4.00 DPPG
He has been up and down this year and should only be used in GPP's. His streaks come and go and seems to be on one at the moment with 3 points in his last 2 games. He enters a nice matchup where the Habs are favorites at home vs. the Avs allowing 2.8 goals per game.

Troy Brouwer - St. Louis Blues vs. CHI
DraftKings - $4,400 FanDuel(RW) - $4,100 DraftPot - 2.40 DPPG
He comes in as a great value across the industry and has put up points in 4 straight games. He gets over 2 min in PP time per game and has a nice ceiling on the leagues 5th ranked offense.

Patrick Sharp - Dallas Stars vs. MIN
DraftKings - $6,100 FanDuel(LW) - $7,200 DraftPot - 3.93 DPPG
He has points in 6 of his last 7 games and still sits at a great bargain on all sites. Plays on a line with Seguin and Benn and carries multi point upside into almost every game. The Stars sit as the NHL's #1 offense and have a home matchup vs the #17 defense in the Wild.

Also Consider - Tomas Tatar - Detroit Red Wings

DEFENSE

Roman Josi - Nashville Predators vs. WPG
DraftKings - $6,300 FanDuel - $6,300 DraftPot - 3.48 DPPG
If you are paying up for a defensemen on DraftKings on Saturday and looking for a floor for cash games, Josi is your man. Not only does he has 11 points on the year he also averages 12.7 CF/60 and picks up close to 3 blocks per game which is a nice bonus on DraftKings.

Rasmus Ristolainen - Buffalo Sabres vs. SJ
DraftKings - $4,400 FanDuel - $4,300 DraftPot - 2.73 DPPG
Nice cheap option on the point Saturday at home vs. the Sharks. He has 5 points in his last 3 games and is averaging close to 2 blocks per game. He is getting just over 24:00 minutes of ice time per game with 2:30 of that on the Powerplay.
