Daily Fantasy College Football Picks for FanDuel and DraftKings - Thursday-Friday 9/24/15

It's an interesting Thursday-Friday slate in college football. We've got a mini, three game slate with a could of potentially high-scoring games. Plus FanDuel is running a PAC-10 Conference Showcase that starts Friday and goes into the night on Saturday. We've got plays for both, plus lineups and cheatsheets to give you an edge over the competition.

We're also selling lineups and cheatsheets for every CFB slate. This week they include 1 DraftKings and 1 FanDuel Thursday Lineup and 1 FD Friday Conference Showcase lineup along with a cheatsheet of write ups on a number of different players. They are $5 and are separate from our membership subscription. This season 71% FanDuel lineups have moneyed in cash games, (45% in GPPs) and one won the FanDuel Redshirt tournament. Meanwhile 67% of our DraftKings lineups have hit in cash games (50% GPPs). Don't miss out.

    Quarterback

    Paxton Lynch
Lynch and the rest of the Memphis Tigers are sitting at 3-0 after a thrilling victory over Bowling Green 44-41 last week. As I mentioned on the Big 3 DFS Show podcast, Memphis has a sneaky good offense with the ability to score some points. The fantasy rub with Memphis is they have a ton of different guys that touch the ball so it's hard to capture all the production on a game-to-game basis. The guy who touches the ball the most, essentially every offensive snap, is Lynch and compared to your other options I think you are going to have to find a way to get him in your lineups. Lynch has shown the ability to get it done both through the air and on the ground. This week should be no different as the Bearcats don’t exactly have a stellar defense. Last week Cincinnati escaped with a narrow victory 37-33 over the vaunted Miami (OH) RedHawks and lost their starting QB in the process. Cincy has a very capable passing game, when healthy, so hopefully they can get things going in order for Lynch to hit his ceiling.

FanDuel Conference Showcase Pick: Anu Solomon

    Running Backs

    Jeremy McNichols
He's expensive on this short slate, but I don't see a way to really fade him with so few other options at the running back position. McNichols has been an absolute touchdown machine through the first three games scoring a total of eight. Typically touchdowns are volatile and it's hard to hang your hat on a guy that is dependent on scoring, but this doesn’t appear to be a fluke. Had there been a game where he went off for say 5 touchdowns things would look a little different, but he has scored 2/3/3 respectively. Last season McNichols was known as The Weapon and this year he slides into the starting gig taking over for the departed Jay Ajayi. Boise has a long history of churning out production fantasy backs and McNichols simply appears to be the next guy in line. Now that Finley is out Boise will have a backup under center, which could an even heavier reliance on the ground game. Boise is a small favorite when they travel to take on the Cavaliers with a total near 68. Virginia has had trouble stopping the run so far this year so Boise should continue to do what they do, give the ball to The Weapon when they want 6.

FanDuel Conference Showcase Pick: Nick Wilson

    Wide Receivers

    Mose Frazier
Short slates don’t offer as many options and receiver can be a slippery slope to begin with so finding guys to hitch your wagon to can be a trying task. I think Mose is one of the better options to look at this Thursday and here's why. If you play Paxton you have the ever so lovely double bubble with Frazier. On the year Frazier has 17 receptions with the next closest guy at just 9 so its abundantly clear who the numero uno is for the Tigers. The game has one of the highest totals on board at 68 and finally Memphis, as a team, is the best offense going on this slate. When your options are limited you need to look for any advantage possible and Frazier is a playing it by the numbers type guy.

    Canaan Severin
Severin actually comes in as my top play based on value, salary relief, and the potential to hit a higher multiplier, but I couldn’t in good conscience put him above the much more talented Frazier. Through three games Canaan has 19 grabs for 264 yards and one score. The next closest receiver only has 5 receptions, not counting Taquan Mizzell who has 17 as a running back, so like Frazier above you are capturing the most targets on the team at a very reasonable price. Severin is the consummate volume play at a very reasonable price and he will find his way into just about every one of my lineups

FanDuel Conference Showcase Pick: Kenny Lawler

    Tight Ends

Look, Tight End is generally an unforgiving venture in the first place and now you're only going to give me six teams to choose from. I would look at Montiel or Cross as your Tight End lawn darts.
